What happened?

If this is progress, count me out.

My icon is GONE - and I just uploaded it!

There's more interactivity - or bells and whistles animation.

I am not sure if I like the "new... improved" version of gather.com

I still get "server not working" and no response when I click on a link and slow starts.

We'll see, it's only day one!

I for one hate all the contstant animation. It is hard to read, makes it difficult to choose a feature to read and acts like a stobe light on my eyes. I feel as if I am going to have a migraine when I am forced to watch that kind of thing. I am all for improvement in a website, but not for all that marketing hype. Here's another gripe: the most annoying thing on here is the advertisements in the middle of all the articles. I joined this community to share my writing and read what others are writing, not watch some man in sillouette waving his arms trying to get me to buy insurance.
Gee, thanks for letting me rant this out......lol. Hope it improves for all of us.

it seems there is some sort of glitch when it comes to pictures...they say it will be fixed soon. I certainly hope so, I have an article that I'd like to publish but it won't load correctly...oh well, time to go shopping I guess! LOL

Maybe this is an issue that's been around: I had a posting saved as draft, when I posted again, it removed the "draft" (which had been actually saved) and put the second posting in its place - even kept the comment to the old posting.
HUH? Don't have a clue as to how/why that happened.
