Happy Thursday everyone! I am grateful to be feeling better today as is my daughter, Tori.
Missy had to go back to the hospital as she had some swelling and some complications. She has a scope done of her GI tract on Friday. She looked much better yesterday so I am grateful that she is in good hands.
Thanks for all of your prayers.

A quote by Albert Schweitzer
To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action.
Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you.
Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude
To be alive and be able to share all the wonder of the world that God has created is perhaps the thing that we should be grateful for every day. We often take this one thing for granted. As Albert so eloquently puts in his quote, 'Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course'.
We all have so much to be grateful for, our family, our life, and no matter what stage of your health, good, fair or poor, we need to appreciate that stage that we are in. Cherish that we have sight or the ability to hold and feel. Even the ability to show emotion, share a smile and receive a smile even when we don't 'feel' like it.
There are times in all of our lives when the skies seem to darken. In these moments we need to take action in two areas.
Prayer
Gratitude meditation
When we go to God in prayer and thank him for all that we have and his divine providence for our lives. We are all here for a purpose. We all send out energy each and every day that will shape lives and make differences.
Just think, that smile you give out today, may just alter the course of someones emotions. Change the wind in their sails. Pass on the simple gift of a smile.
Gratitude to me as so much deep meaning and is a vital part of my life. Do I get derailed sometimes by things that happen in my life. Sure, I know we all do in some manner. But I know that the focus I put on feeling good about what 'great' things are in my life helps me get back on tracks in quick fashion.
The sound of the school bus, right on time picking up my daughter another thing to be grateful for today. She loves school, hated to miss those days when she was feeling sick, she said but she is back on track as well.
Hope you all have a blessed day!
Till next time....Smile! : )
