KAYLA ROSE is three today
SHE had a hole in her heart when SHE was born
SHE has little scars on her chest
but that little girl can light up a room!
SHE smiles mischeivous, and what a laugh!
dances whenever there is music
SHE has me wrapped around her finger
'cause SHE's wrapped around my heart
with her curls and her sparkling eyes
and how SHE asks a hundred questions
and likes me to make her fly
and play the buggy broke down and i spy
and can make me get in the floor
and act like a child, and the sad thing is
her mom and dad, they're on the street
SHE lives with nana, and SHE calls for them
but they never come
while SHE takes it in stride
and SHE loves whoever is
there for her
i'll be there for KAYLA ROSE
i'll pray for her;
i'll take her to dance
i'll fix her hair, try to give her a chance
SHE deserves it

My husband had open heart surgery at age 5, he was given very little chance to survive it. We celebrated his 50th birthday this year! Your Kayla Rose sounds like a very special little girl.
