My daughter Brenda and her friend Wendy went to Camp Pendleton to see Wendy's cousin Wendell who was about to embark on a pending mission to IRAQ, defending our freedom. The USA was sending troops there under the recommendation of the Attorney General.
The bus trip was recommended and endorsed by a slender trendy nurse who knew Wendy. The ride down there was splendid, or so they said, but depending on who you listened to, they depended mainly on rest stops to relieve their tender bladders. It must be a gender thing.
While Brenda tended to business, Wendy was befriended by Norma Fender, who extended her hand in friendship and the two ended up sitting at the end table waiting for Brenda.
The two women are to be commended for their patience as they waited for almost ten minutes, but were not offended when Brenda arrived at the table with with a basket full of tender chunks of white meat fried chicken.
All in all, the expenditure for the trip was unending, and they depended on plastic (credit card) which was the trend. It's not recommended to spend what you don't have, but the trip ended sending her cousin off to war.
THE END
