I have always been suspicious of diet plans and books. There are just too many diets and too many fat people to convince me. 65% of Americans are overweight and 30.5% are obese. Then along comes tea and suddenly, the fat's in the fire and I am ready to burn some!
Reading "The Ultimate Tea Diet" has made me a believer. It consists of a series of threes:
3 parts to the book
3 important ingredients in tea
3 cups of tea each day (minimum)
Mark Ukra explains the interactions of the three important substances in tea in clear, simple terms. Readers need not be dieticians nor scientists to understand. Drinking tea decreases appetite while increasing metabolism.
Success stories of 18 Tea dieters with whom readers can identify are spread throughout the book . The tea diet can be personalized to fit the lifestyle, goals, cravings, needs and preferences of each dieter. Dr. Tea says "find a tea you love and drink it all day."
The only obstacle I can see for me is that I do not really like tea. You don't either? Go to Chapter 7. Take the Tea Quiz to find out which flavors of tea you might like best. There are more than 50 flavors of tea ranging from sweet to spicy, which surely must offer something for everyone. I'll be sampling and sipping until I find my flavor.
Cooking with tea? Tea in my food? Yes! Part 3 of the book includes recipes that include tea. Tea Salad Dressing, Tea Frittata, Tea Chicken Tostadas and Turkey Tea Meatloaf are among the tea recipes. Also featured are meal plans, which is another key to success on this plan.

I agree with you as does America. But this book is changing all of that and everyone who reads this books knows, not believes, knows that this will work because we all know tea is good for us. When we get sick, do we say, "hey honey, can you get me a cup of coffee?"

I taught myself to like tea over the last year, as I knew there were wonderful health benefits from the tea plant. The thing that helped me the most was making it sweet and white. In other words, add honey or sugar and some milk, half and half or cream. Once your taste buds grow accustomed to it, you can cut back on the sweetener or leave the milk out. Honestly, it works!
