The mystery surrounding the death of the Romanovs - the last ruling family of Russia - has intrigued me for a long time. It was sparked again a few years ago when I read Steve Berry's thriller, The Romanov Prophecy.
So I was glad to see this book, also glad to see it was little more than 200 pages - a very quick read. There is SO much detail in this fictional book - supposedly written by a man who had been a kitchen boy in the last home the royal family ever knew.
He describes their daily lives, how they managed to keep their spirits up from day to day, what their routines were.
There are many surprises in the book - it's an interesting book that I can recommend.
