Did someone ever whisper

 

to be quiet in your ear

 

not talk about your birthday

 

so all can overhear

 

For look what you have started

 

with your little thank you piece

 

to your friends at Gather

 

will comments never cease

 

Now not to downplay

 

the effects that this has had

 

Certainly it made your day

 

and kept you from feeling Sad

 

In fact it turns out that your friends

 

went a little overboard

 

you have so many birthday wishes

 

Some will have to be just stored

 

for days when you have lots of time

 

to read and browse a bit

 

and say to everyone of them

 

Your birthday was a hit

 

Thank you very much each and everyone of my friends that

left me a comment. I will be seeing you , you know that.

Elsie, I'm not really sure who had more fun. All of us or you, and somehow I think we all did. It really was fun. It gave us all something to look forward to and it was great going from site to site to say happy birthday to you. Take it easy. This really isn't about the comments insofar as points go. Comments mean that we get a message from you and that is what makes a comment important. I think we are all very willing to cut you some slack here. This has been one of the best protracted birthday celebrations I've ever joined in on, and I think it has made all of us smile off and on for days. So we need to be thanking you.
