Smokey

My gather friends may remember an article I wrote in November 2006, about my beloved cat, Twinkles, that just disappeared.

I am happy to report that I have just adopted a beautiful grey cat, called Smokey. We attended an Arts & Crafts show at  nearby  Rondebosch Park. "Adopt-a-Pet" also had a stall, along with some puppies, cats and kittens up for adoption. All these animals were really adorable, especially the cats. Since I wanted to adopt a male cat, the official promised to e-mail me a picture of Smokey. As soon as I saw his photo, I really liked him. I called the agency to confirm my interest in adopting my boy, and the rest is history.

Smokey has adapted quite well to our household, although he is sometimes a bit scared when the boys are really noisy. What can I say, I just really love my beautiful cat.
