I like this poem, Irene. You have introduced me to a poetic form I have not previously been aware of and I find that I like it.
Then I saw 'tanka' in your groups and looked that up as well. I wonder why I never learned about these at school? The syllabus must have been woefully lacking. LOL

Jann, Kylee, I don't know tanka exists either until I come to gather as well:) It is an excellent place to learn new things:) If you haven't found out yet, Cindy T. who formed the short verse, tanka, essays and cinquain group is an excellent writer. Love her poems:)
