Hi Everyone,
Inspired by Greg Schiller's stories using only dialogues, I have an idea for a new game which I think will be great fun! So please join in, the more the merrier. :)
********************************************************************
Here are the rules:
- I will start telling a story using only dialogues (i.e conversation between two or more people). I will have to write a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 dialogues to start the story.
- On the comments section, you will expand on the story I have started by using your own dialogues (the first person to comment will keep going from where I stop, the second person keeps going from where the first person stops and so on), you can add or get rid of characters as you please but remember it all has to be done using dialogues amongst the characters only. Please use quotation marks or a dash (-) to seperate the dialogues from general comments.
- The minimum number of dialogue per comment is 1 and the maximum is 10.
- You can comment as often as you like as long as there is someone else's comment in between two comments by one person.
- At the end of my story I will tag a minimum of 5 and maximum of 7 people who will then start their own story in dialogues and tag another 5-7 people. (the people I tag are also allowed to play on this story of course)
- These rules should be copied and pasted to each article of this thread. So that the same rules are communicated via the grapevine.
- Please use "Tagged- Story in Dialogues" as your title for the game and use this as a tag as well.
- All that said, happy story telling everyone!

Start Story: One Fine Day
- Do you see the white paint on our fence outside?
- Yes, but I don't remember seeing it before Julia.
- That's what I was thinking. I am not sure if it was always there and I never noticed it, or..
- It's probably because the sunlight is on the fence now so it's more clear. It is our first weekend in the house after all.
- You're probably right, Steve. But you know that empty block of land just outside our fence? I think I heard voices coming from that direction last night...
YOUR TURN NOW! WRITE AWAY!
I Tag :
I hope all of you will join in the fun. Happy writing everyone!

By the way, playing on the comments section here, does not require anyone to be tagged, you will just need to continue on from the story where I left it.
"And have become such a sissy!"
"Don't you remember the time we sneaked into old Man Brown's place? you know, right after they buried him?"
"You weren't freaked out that time. What's happened to you? You used to have such a great sense of adventure and you were up for anything any of the gang wanted to do!"
I promise if you go with me to check this out, I'll let you use the mongo flashlight I snitched from Dad. It's a big one too....uses 6 D batteries!
And I don't watch too many horror movies...I actually don't watch enough of them!~ I wanted to see that 1408 or whatever it was called but got shot down and didn't get to see it....want to try to sneak in the backdoor and check it out?
Now you're acting like you did the time we snuck into the museum and reset all those exhibits! Wouldn't you have liked to have been there the next day when the day guy found the lions lying down with the sheep sleeping....pure genius you had on that one!
Say, let's DO hit the empty lot but remember Old Lady Higgins likes to watch out her back window so we'll have to wait until she goes to sleep......
I'll try NOT to laugh, but you know how I am...when I'm nervous I "snort".....it's hard not to when I see you shaking like you do.... you're such a goof sometimes!
Wait, someone is over there on Old Man Brown's front porch.... I want to find out who it is....wait for me here and if I'm not back in 10 minutes don't come after me, call the gang, they'll help you
My problem is this: Shouldn't dialogue be in quotation marks? I having trouble deciphering the continuing dialogue from people's comments. Perhaps you should add "use quotation marks" as another rule. Please? I will need that in order to follow the story.
ps ~ What is a "radio drive time game" anyway? :S
the gang. C'mon.
But what if we can't find them. It's kinda late ya know. They all might be
in bed by now.
We gotta do something cause the old man isn't sitting on his porch
anymore and it's pitch black over there.
Ok, I got an idea. Remember that hooting call we all made up? All the gang was here too so lets do it!
Hi everyone, Please use quotation marks for the dialogues and thanks for playing, please continue!
"man oh man, I found this way cool way inside Old Man Brown's house but that crazy place was a maze of newspapers stacked as high as your head. Once I got in there, i got all confused and couldn't get out again"
"It was Barbara's hoot that helped me find my way out! You guys have got to see this! Where did Judi go!?!"
you can start playing now :) may be just start a new story on your space? and we will all take it along.. you can then tag some people as well, who will start their own stories.
