When did chicken nuggets become a food group? According to my daughter, it's the most important part of her diet. (What part of the chicken is a nugget, anyway?) Add fries and a toy in a greasy bag, and she reacts like she just received manna from heaven!

But the thing is, happy meals don't fill her up anymore. It's like she would try to subsist on crumbs as long as she got a crappy toy afterwards.

"But, M-o-o-o-m! A crumb and half a fry always fills me up! And look! They have toy beanie dummies!"

Yeah, right. If I'm eating crumbs, they better have a gold Lexus in the bag!

completely true. at any fast food i usually eat a fruit salad and a sundae because everything else is more fatty and never fills me up for at least 2 hours. and the toys in the bag arent that great!!

I might as well just buy the darn toy, cause once my daughter sees the happy meal bag, she forgets that she even hungry in the first place. What a waste!

Isn't that amazing, Lori? In the car, my daughter is on her last legs, wasting away before my very eyes to hear her tell it. yet as soon as you get that bag, who needs food? I think I've figured it out! The aroma of the food must fill kids up when combined with cheap toy molecules!
