It seems Gather isn't the only place where change is happening. Associated Content is hosting a "happy hour" today from 2-3 PM PDT (which is 5-6 PM EDT). CEO Patrick Keane and Founder/President Luke Beatty will be in a live video to address the Associated Content community.
The happy hour does not include free booze (I take it this affair is BYOB, LOL). Instead, the dynamic duo will discuss their vision for the company and answer questions from Associated Content contributors.
The event is held live via webcasting website Ustream.tv. To join in the fun, login onto www.ustream.tv/channel/ac-happy-hour and RSVP so you get notice when the happy hour starts. Twitter users can tweet questions with the hashtage #achappyhour. There is a thread at AC Forum to post questions. I won't be able to make it but if anyone else does, please comment or post about it.

For some reason I can't get into my account on AC any more. I think I'll send something to CS today, because I'm at a stage where I'd like to write for them again.
