I learned that racing really doesn'g get you their much faster. One day on the way to work I passed a co-worker on the freeway and assumed I would reach work much earlier than her. To my surpirse while stopped at the last stoplight before I enter the parking lot I saw my co-working stopped directly behind me. For all my stress of switching lanes and speeding here and there had only gotten me ahead by one car. And my co-worker had leisurely driven all the way.
