I am wondering if someone here can help me out. I have been a member of Associated content since about mid summer, but I am yet to write anything for that site. I have written on judy's book, insider pages, and of course here on gather with no troubles, but AC gives me brain freezes.
I am not sure if I am scared of being downgraded because my content is not up to par of the other writers, if I have nothing of interest to say, or if I am just having a writer's block. I get an email everyday for the content of the day, then the weekly content email. Nothing even tempts me.
I also have gone to the website, read several of the articles, even joined in at the message boards with no results. Am I a lost cause when it comes to AC or did anyone else go through all of this as well?
Thanks in advance,
Stephanie

From what I have seen, AC will take reviews of pretty much anything as long as it is over 400 words. Review your computer, your printer, your latest lipstick, that book you just finioshed reading, the movie you watcvhed last night. Really, the possibilities are endless.
Thanks for those tips. I hadn't thought about my epinion reviews as I haven't written for them in about 3 years, ever since they really clamped down on the reviews and I kept getting mine booted.
What magazines do you write for?? I might be interested in that also since my written English has improved due to all the required writing classes I had to take in college.
No no no... after you... I insist! :-) Let me know when you write something and then I shall follow YOU. ;-) hehe.
I hadn't thought about doing reviews, but that is a good idea. Now I just may have a few ideas in my head to think about.
Why oh why do I have to go first?? I think you should go first, just cuz I don't wanna!! I will try this out tomorrow, how does that sound, like that I can think of a couple of things/routes to go...
I got the gigs when the editors noticed my reviews on the Internet... Epinions mainly. They contacted me. I do mainly travel pieces and advice columns, but occasionally I toss in a Top 5 list or restaurant review.
