I am striving to eat well, be well, and feel great! My Daily Goals

This week I have purchased :
Leafy green veg. (These will go great with the fish I purcahsed ). They will also add iron-rich nutrients to my diet.
Asparagus (perfect for a my mid-winter soup ). This will be my delicious source of vitamins and minerals
Carrots (raw for snacks). They contains vitamin A, which can help me keep my skin healty !
My Daily Goals
- To drink plenty of water - Keeping my body dehydrated doing so will keep me from feeling feeling run-down and lethargic.
- I will not skip meals - Because if I do my blood-sugar levels will dip. I plan on eating regular, healthy meals, and snacks in order to maintain my energy levels throughout the day.
- I will be watching my salt and fat intake. - I will be opting for low-fat foods and checking the labels and chooseing unsaturates instead.
- I promise to get enough sleep - I will aim for about eight hours sleep per night. Getting into this routine will keep me alert throughout the day so that I have enough energy to play with my grandchildren.
