Another year has come and gone. I remember when I was young, the adults used to talk about how fast time went by. As someone stuck in school just waiting for those elusive summer vacations when I could escape to my grandparents house it always seemed to me that time ticked by excruciatingly slow and that the crazy adults had no idea what they were talking about. Except for summertime, of course, which flew by in a blink.
Now I find myself saying more and more, “Geeze, time goes by so fast”. Spring will be here before we know it, then the hot dry days of summer followed by the cool damp of autumn and before I know it I will be dragging out the Christmas tree to put up again and thinking about how it seems like I only just took it down last week.
The wheel of the year has brought us to the time for Resolutions again, I often wonder how many are made each year, only to be forgotten by the next week. I, myself am guilty of some of those in the past. As I prepare to list my resolutions for this upcoming year though, I somehow feel –different- than I have in the past.. I feel somehow like –this- year may be –the- year. Maybe it is a change in over all attitude that has me feeling differently, I am looking at these not so much as 'New Year's Resoloutions' and more like life style changes. I wonder if it’s just me. In the end, only time will tell.
My "resolutions" this year are not unattainable, although they may sometimes feel as if they are. They are really quite simple and are not so much Resolutions as they are things that I want to change in my life:
- Try and blog daily.
- Work on my novel every day until it’s finished. Even if it’s just researching or brainstorming.
- Start using my bike again to get my energy levels back up.
Wish me luck! What are some of your resolutions/life changes this year?

Happy New Year~
Must pay better attention to my physician in 2009. My resolution would to be closer and more loving with those I care about.
