My new year's resolution was to get a life:mine. So far, a lot has not changed in physical terms, because I haven't graduated yet! But some positive things have occurred: I'm most definitely graduating in May: passed my senior tests, ordered my cap and gown and my announcements, and most definitely passing my classes! I've finally finished and polished my resume. And as of today, I'm sending it off to ten different places around the country. I've also thoroughly enjoyed my internship and I know where I want to go career-wise, at least after graduation. My best friend and I also went on a road trip across most of Rt. 66, and proved to ourselves that we don't need men or family members to help us! (Very important in cutting those umbilical cords!)
But most importantly, I've kept a positive attitude about my life. And it's really helped in both my job and school life. Changes are occurring, and I most definitely did not expect them! I've taken the initiative in several projects in school and work. I've learned how to write a brilliant resume and mastered the art of interviewing. I feel fantastic about my life post-graduation, when before, I would be freaking out over the simplest things. Even my professors have noticed the change, and have asked why I'm in such a good mood lately. (It does help that I've nailed every paper and test lately!) My positivity feels like it's paying off, and I believe that I will have a lot of confidence when those interviews start rolling in.
Ultimately, I may not get the dream job, or even leave town, but with this new found optimism and confidence, I think I may actually be extremely happy by the end of the year.

I really don't know what that has to do with my update, David, but thanks for the comment anyway!
