2005 was a year of pain and loss for me. Three deaths of family members left me with a lot of grief, but also a motivation to not take life for granted.
2006 was a year of transition. A new job caused me to moved to another stat. I bought a 100-year-old home where I still haven't completely settled in.
2007 will be a year of joy. As I unpack my home, I will create a safe haven, a place of peace and joy to come home to and for friends and family to visit. The choices I make this year will be driven by one question -- Will this bring lasting joy to me and those around me?
Life is too short to live in situations that only bring regret or frustration. Life is too precious to waste on situations and events that do not serve me well. 2007 will be a year of enjoying life, not just living it.
