Turning sixty in November helped me to regain control of a life out of balance. Working for over twenty-five years in a career I desperately despised, I started back at college this fall with a major in Early Childhood Education. I hope to fulfill the necessary courses to teach either preschool or kindergarten. There is one thing I have learned that has played upon my conscience with each breathe I take. That is, I must take what I believe in Christianity, but do not force it on another. There are many cultures, many beliefs. I accept what I can, and respect what is left.
