OK THIS IS NOT TO SAY I AM NOT A GREAT MOM I LOVE MY KIDS AND ALL, MY KIDS ARE MY LIFE. I AM A STAY AT HOME MOM WITH A 12, 3 AND A 2 YEAR OLD. MY HUSBAND WORKS AND MONEY IS OK WE ARE GETTING BY. WE GET ALOT OF HELP FROM OUR MOMS. WE LIVE AT MY MOTHER'S HOUSE. THAT IN ITSELF IS STRESSFULL ENOUGH. I WAS A PRESCHOOL TEACHER BEFORE I HAD MY DAUGHTER MADISON, 3. I FIGURED BEING A TEACHER WITH 10 KIDS IN MY CLASS I COULD COME UP WITH A PLAN AND ORGANIZE MY DAY LIKE I ORGANIZED MY CLASS. BOY WAS I WRONG. I TRIED TO COME UP WITH A DAILY PLAN FOR HOME INCLUDING WAKE UP TIMES FEEDING TIMES AND I EVEN PICKED OUT AGED ACTIVITIES FOR THEM TO DO EVERY DAY. IT DIDN'T WORK. I COULD NOT SPLIT MYSELF IN TWO. I SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME RESOLUTION EVERY YEAR. TO LOOSE WEIGHT THIS YEAR I AM CHANGING IT. I WANT TO BE A BETTER MOM TO MY THREE KIDS. DON'T GET ME WRONG LOOSING WEIGHT IS STILL A HUGE PART OF MY RESOLUTION BECAUSE I NEED TO DO IT FOR MYSELF AND MY KIDS. I LOVE TO PLAY WITH MY KIDS BUT WHEN IT COMES TO RUNNING AND TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH TWO ACTIVE TODDLERS I JUST DON'T CUT IT. WE DO A DAILY CIRCLE TIME AND READ STORIES BUT I JUST CANT KEEP UP WHEN THEY ARE OUTPLAYING AND WE DON'T HAVE A FENCED IN YARD SO WE DON'T GET OUT AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO FOR FEAR OF THEM RUNNING IN THE STREET. FOR THIS REASON I THINK THEY ARE AT EACH OTHERS THROUGHTS. I AM FOREVER BREAKING UP FIGHTS, HE IS PULLING HER HAIR OR SHE IS PINCHING HIM. THIS IS THE MOST STRESSING TIME OF DAY FOR ME. I THINK I HAVE WORN A HOLE IN THEIR TIME OUT CHAIRS. I ALSO FEEL LIKE I DEPEND TOO MUCH ON MY 12 YEAR OLD TO HELP. SHE HAS HER CHOIRS, SHE GETS PAID TO EMPTY AND FILL THE DISHWASHER AND CLEAN THE COUNTERS. BUT SHE ALSO HELPS ME BY WATCHING THE KIDS SO I CAN COOK AND CLEAN (WHICH I FEEL LIKE I DO NONSTOP). I AM JUST IN A STUMP. I THINK I COULD USE SOME ADVICE. IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN WHERE I AM AND CAN HELP ME OUT?

Try not to make things too structured.. then the kids will not learn themselves how to structure their alone play either... they need time to be creative in their own way not others ways... if ya catch what I mean... just be a mom... play with them in unstructured play... we have structures for meal time and bedtime and stuff like that, but time spent with them is not structured and can be an on the spot thing.
Being part of a family team is not doing things cuz that is what the schedule says... it is done because we love each other and need to work together to complete tasks... even tasks like folding clothes can be appealing to a 2 year old... ok so the clothes wont be folded like you want, but they can try and fold washclothes or roll them and that is all part of learning too.. not necesarily how to clean but how to roll and how to fold things to make them smaller... along with matching when it comes to matching colors of socks... etc... so make the best of your time with them unstructured...
Even an unstructured and unplanned trip through the woods with a lunch bag can bring joys to younger kids as they pick up leaves and other items which teach them about our environment on their level.. it is unstructured too... what you see is what you get...
I hope this helps... I wish you the best of luck..
I agree with Trish on the structure though. Make certain things fun, like the laundry. Make a game of sorting the colors before they go in the washer. Or making lunch, shape sandwhiches and have them tell you what the shapes are (cookie cutters are great for this) or the color of the fruit. Or recycling items before they go in the trash. Or make cleaning up their toys a game, like a race. Make their prizes more valuable then you can get in a store.....hugs and kisses for both the winner and the loser! They will never know the difference.
You said that you are too tired to keep up with them....kep on keeping up with them. The more active you are the more energy you will have. If you seem to never have any at all, get to the doctor and get a physical. You may have a vitamin deficiency. Fresh fruits and veggies can help you get all the nutrients you need in a day. Make sure you are snacking healthfully instead of on crackers and cookies all day long. Make sure that your meals are balanced as well. Teaching your kids now how to eat will help them to stay healthier the rest of their lives. Good Luck and let me know if you need more help.
