Last year my only resolution was to try getting better. I was suffering from severe depression. While I'm still not 100% and not back to work yet, I am better than I was.
Because of my new meds, I've gained an additional 30 pounds over the past year. Since I was already 30 pounds overweight, this problem has added to my depression. I'm determined to lose at least 40 pounds by May. I've joined the Biggest Loser Club and joined a group challenge for 12 weeks. We will begin on January 1st and seperated into 6 teams of 10. While there is nothing for the winning team except the most % of weight lost, all 60 of us will feel better. Fortunately the site gives recipes and menus for the day from breakfast thru night-time snack as well as a grocery list. I'm also quite happy that I can "switch meals" when there is something included I don't like LOL!!
So, I'm going to lose weight for my New Year's Resolution.
