I have a few hopes for 2007. I do not have the usual resolutions. It is usually diet...but since my surgery last August I do not have to worry about my wieght...i lost sixty pounds. I had to have my colon removed. I do not advise this as a method of losing weight....but, alas, it works. I have other more pressing concerns and my own asperations for the new year. My husband is in great need of a job. He was laid off just before Thanksgiving and has been given the run-a-round (because of his age) from most of the places he has applied and we were in the middle of buying a new home, which has been put on hold (that means that most of my present place is in boxes). Because I am on a medical leave of absence and most likely will not go back I have been working on starting my own buisness. I will be knitting and crocheting sweaters, colars, and jewelery for dogs and cats as well as knitted and crochet items of interests for human wear. This is because I can sit and do this work and if I am sick I can lay down a while and go on. My resolution is not to lose hope and work on making my new business work. Plus, I want to get my poetry published in book form as well. Besides hoping on my husbands success on getting a job these are my goals (as well as keeping my husbands spirits up while he looks for work) for 2007.

thank you! We are all praying for an end to these particular troubles. Finding a job is almost like fishing (not as much fun). Several lines are in the lake but no fish a bitten yet....a few nibbles that turned out to be turtles.
