I have the wonderful luck of having many friends that I have met online. I've known some of these people for up to 5 years now. They are the greatest group of gals I've ever known and I am blessed to have them in my life. Not only are they true friends (not just online only) they are some of the best friends I have ever had in my life. However, they get shafted when it comes to gifting because I always like to wrap the gifts and then send them...and then I forget... and soon it's July and they are receiving their gifts. Not kidding, this past July I sent out 3 years of gifts I had saved for some of my friends. Not being in-town friends have let my online friends suffer when it comes to gifts.
This year, I resolve to send their gifts in a timely fashion so that they can open their said gift on their birthday or whatever various gifting holiday. This past year, I resolved to remember birthdays and I have done pretty well with that but the gifting has fallen slack. In 2007 the gifts AND cards shall arrive on time and in order.
Of course there is the always standard resolutions of eat healthy and loose weight (wedding and reunion this year!) but to me they are selfish resolutions and I would rather do something that is more giving in nature because that is what I am at heart. Plus, a lot of my friend's family or siginificant others seem to forget the big days and it always makes me sad to hear of my friends being bummed on their special days. This year (hopefully), at least I won't be one of the ones that missed the big day!

Vikki: You just liked getting gifts in the middle of summer for no apparent reason!
Trish: We've all met at one point or another (well save for a couple that no one has met) so that helps bring the friendships offline as well. It's something to make it more real :)
