Yes, I must admit that at times I go to see the movies that are in their second showing. I paid a whole fifty cents for the bargain theater seat. I settled in with my large drink and prepared myself for an average movie. A movie about the U.S. Coast Guard. Hoorah, I thought. Imagine my surprise when I found a treasure of a movie that should soon become a classic. The human drama of what it takes to become a rescue diver was truly captured in its full glory. This movie also focussed on the personal demons that haunt each of us that we struggle to overcome and move on with our lives. I must admit that I almost cried at the end. Something I NEVER do. Kevin Costner and Ashton Cusher should be nominated for Emmy's for their roles in this flick. Another great part of this movie was that there was no graphic language or explicit sex scenes. I would have gladly paid full price for this one and look forward to watching it again when it comes out on DVD. I give this movie four stars.
