Now I wouldn't say that I am a great critic of movies, restaurants or anything else for that matter, but what I can always share is my average joes' perception on most any topic or life experience. Take for example the last two movies I saw at an actual theatre were "Akeelah and the bee" with Lawrence Fishburn and "The Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith. Now I realize that these two movies were released several months apart (explanation: a newborn), but they share one very important thing in common.... I walked out inspired, refreshed and smiling. Few movies offer that sentiment anymore. I like watching movies that make me feel like the average Joe, or Jane for that matter, can achieve their goals through hard work and perseverance. Feeling sorry for yourself? Go see "The Pursuit of Happyness". It will make you realize how fortunate you are and perhaps how little you have had to actually do to get there.
