The author, Betsy Brown Braun, provides tips and scripts, and oodles of advice, written in a fun, friendly, "parent to parent" style that's easy to identify with and comprehend. Ms. Braun is truly an expert and her advice, priceless.

I haven't been on gather too much lately. I've been doing a lot of genealogical research lately which has become really addicting.
Jerri, you are too sweet- thanks for the awesome compliment :) Cody wears his pedometer a lot and now my littlest guy has one too. They are too cute. And it's motivating for me too as they keep wanting to take walks and count our steps.
The library in Frenchburg has a great collection of Kentucky books and records, you might want to see if they have anything to aid in your research.
