If you are planning a wedding, whether it is BIG or small, you should read WEDDINGS. It shows what four different brides choose for their big day. Even if you aren’t having a wedding as big as the ones shown, you can incorporate an idea or two from these into your own. The booklet has suggestions for everything from start to finish. Beginning with the invitations, to flower choices, to room decorations, to meal/reception ideas and of course the wedding cake, you will find a range of designs and themes. Many of the suggestions are things you can make yourself or gather your wedding party to help you create the invitations or arrange the flowers. Planning an outdoor wedding? WEDDINGS show you what you can do to make your altar special and it even provides an idea for decorating the lawn! Patterns for flower girl baskets and ring bear pillows you can make yourself are given and there are pages full of recipes for cakes and foods. Groom’s cake and guest gifts are explained. There are many, many photos of the church, the reception hall, the cakes and all the other items that make up a wedding. Each helps you to visualize if this is the right item for your day. The decorations are extremely extravagant or elegantly simply. My own wedding, oh so many years ago, was small by contrast to the ones shown but I could have used this book in making the decisions on my invitations, flowers and wedding cake. The point is that no matter how big or small your plans are, this booklet will help you decide on one or two points in planning your big day and what girl doesn’t appreciate help when planning that “once in a lifetime” day?
