John Edwards has created an emergency ad to end the war: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnHkWfIAyHE

The Edwards team is trying to raise enough money to air this ad on TV in order to demonstrate the wide-spread support to end the war.

He is paying for the ad out of his campaign funds. In my opinion, it shows his commitment to ending the war that he would make his very first TV ad be an effort to help end the war. It's not unusual, by the way, for candidates to want to raise more campaign funds.

FYI, he paid for the haircut out of his personal funds. It was expensive because the person who cut his hair had to come to him, due to his extremely busy schedule. There is no issue there, except that the right wing would like to make it one.
