The Day After.

Barack Obama is in the White House.

George Bush is in Texas.

It is the day after history.

Newspapers have sold out or are selling fast, and people are talking about the events of yesterday.

With all the hype that led up to the inauguration, it will be hard for some to let it go for a day or two.

Maybe longer.

The press will have a hand in that as well.

Sooner or later however, things will settle down as the reality of the real world takes over.

The economy being the way it is will test the often used words hope and future.

Barack Obama's first 100 days will be interesting.

I sure hope he does well in the next four years and that we see the real change America voted for.

Remember that we are in this together.

Time to get to work.

Welcome to Washington, Mr. President!

It seems we are all in it together when a democrat is president?. Obama will be judged by me a conservative in the same way the liberal democrats judged W.. But you Obama fans have the one thing a conservative president never has or ever had-the media openly rooting for you and doing everything they can to help you.
To bad we weren't in it all together when W. was president.

I think Obama will bring about real change and I really think he likes a challenge. I think he really knows how to work smart. The reason I say this is his campaign is probably the envy of every polician seeking office. When you want to get something done it takes commitment, persistence, and doing the work. Obama knows how to do it.

Am I the only person who didn't watch yesterday's events and am kind of sick of hearing about it all? I'll believe that Obama will change things when I see it. Obama talks big but change is hard to come by.

It took me quite a while to come around to Obama, he had to convince me, and I'm a tough customer. I think we have a winner. Changing this country is at a point where political concensus is so difficult, I'll be looking closely at how me tries to manage it.

Remember in the last days before the election, everyone was convinced McCain had one last dirty trick up his sleaves and we were all paranoid something would happen to prevent Obama from winning. Now, McCain is history and Bush has been completely erased from memory.
