Did you watch it?
If so, was is what you expected?
Who do you think won?
Are you getting tired of politics?

Like the first debate article (VP debate too), I will stay out of this.

Yes, I watched the debate last night. Obama clearly wins for keeping his cool. McCain didn't explode but he came close. He managed to keep himself largely in check so I guess he didn't do that bad either. I'm not tired of politics. I think that this campaign cycle has been very interesting. I'm an Obama voter.

I saw part of it. I taped the rest, because I got too sleepy about 30 minutes in. McCain looked very uncomfortable to me - like he didn't like to speak in public (don't blame him there lol). Obama seemed relaxed and friendly. He seemed to have an easier time talking person to person.

I watched it, and once again thought Obama was the more presidential of the two.

I am not tired of politics, but I am weary of McCain's "my friends"--he is not my friend, nor does he vote in my best interests.

Marilyn, "smirk"? It's Palin that smirks. I think you got confused. Did you also get tired of McCain's rudeness and referral to Obama as "that one"?

I got bored with it. BUT. . . am I the only one that thought (and I was genuinely concerned) that McCain seemed out of breath and he was stuttering. I thought he was having a heart attack!!! I don't want him to be president but I didn't want anything to happen to him. Did anyone else catch that?

I watched it and no I'm not tired of politics, just the spins and the media propaganda.

Overall Obama clearly won this one, with McCain scoring a point here and there.

I watched the debate and did get rather bored with it. Still waiting for specifics to solve the countrys problems. Tired of hearing "I have a plan to fix that".

I watched it. Seemed mostly like a snooz-arama.

I wish both candidates had answered some of the specific questions given instead of launching in to topically related responses.

I am sick of hearing the Republican attacks. It seems like all they can do is get nastier and make less well pointed arguments.

They won't win any of the undecideds that way. All they will do is stir up the most virulent of their base.

I watched it, I heard the "that one" comment and was way less than impressed. I also saw and heard the tired way that McCain was sounding and looking. I am curious, what facial expression would have been deemed appropriate for Obama?

Obama has shown great courage, patience and self-control when dealing with the antics of John McCain. For someone who wanted to make the debate about "character", McCain has shown a lack of it during the last two debates and in campaigning. In the first debate he refused to even acknowledge Obama, never even looking his way. And his reference last night to "that one" was disrespectful and rude as well. If I were Obama, it would be very tempting to lash out at McCain, but he has restrained himself and taken the high road. He is a gentlemen, which is more than I can say for McCain.

I am soooo terribly PROUD of myself....I did NOT watch it....LOL! Instead, I chose to watch "Inside America's Jails," as I thought it proved to be much more of a learning experience, and I just loved the program...
I refuse to watch ANYTHING to do with politics and have NOT watched a single debate as of yet......I knew who I was going to vote for long ago, so what's the point of watching and getting extremely agitated and upset with the opposing person?
Truthfully, I have much better things to do with my time, rather than listening to tons of "promises, promises,promises."

Now, how many can say the same thing as I in the previous post?!!!!!! Thank God for satellite dish, as there were several channels with NO politics.
Truthfully, I am more interested in the Caylee Anthony case....and I think they are going to find her remains soon!

Yep, I watched it and Obama handled himself better than McCain from my view. McCain seemed tired and seems to have irked many a people (online anyway) with his constant "my friends" comments.

I more listened than watched, so I didn't see all the body language. I heard someone say that they were cordial to each other, but there were some really serious jabs going on there.
