It might be helpful if McCain supporters keep us updated daily (or hourly), since he seems to change his mind often. Obama, Not McCain, Shows Steady Hand in Crisis: Albert R. Hunt Bloomberg.com Food for thought: A tough guy At age 2, McCain's tantrums were so intense that he'd hold his breath until he passed out. His parents would dunk him in cold water to "cure" him, he wrote in his memoir, "Faith of My Fathers." "I have spent much of my life choosing my own attitude, often carelessly, often for no better reason than to indulge a conceit," he wrote. He conceded that some of his actions have been embarrassing, and "others I deeply regret." rest of the story here

On another note, sad to see Tim Russert again. We need him and people like him (Go. Keith, Go!) more than ever right now.
And the bump after the RNC that McCain enjoyed with the convention and with Palin has disappeared, with Obama gaining.
It amazes me how this 20 years in the military statement overshadows the facts that he was a poor military personnel, finish at the bottom of his class, crashed 3 jet fighters, the last one causing him to be captured by the enemy.
Date: September 26

I miss Tim Russert. We need him.
*Aniko - your post made me laugh and do a spit take with my coffee*
What makes this so different from the ordinary exploitation we've all grown so jaded over is that it's big. Really big. We are on the verge of a sea change in how our government and our financial systems work. The 'cure' the Republicans offer is to take what little money we have left and use it to finance a plan which includes permanent forfeiture of what little ability we have left to have a say in our own governance.
I think voting for Republican or Democrat candidates just gives us more of "The Same Old Thing" regardless of which you choose.
I have had so many people tell me the same tired old story..."If I vote for anyone other than McCain or Obama, then my vote will be wasted."
That is a sad image, my friend!
People have already been jaded to the belief that there are only two candidates...sad, sad, sad!
Truth is, if *every* candidate had as much *free* media coverage as these two sorry options have, then there would actually be a contest!
This election has become a joke, sorry to say.
How long have you been saying this, and what have you done to raise money for your third party candidate? Where do you see a third party candidate half way qualified to be in this race?
The facts are:
* One of the two parties will win this election.
* One candidate is intelligent, honest, qualified, and ready to make necessary changes.
* One candidate is an unqualified, lying stack of shit who will continue the same thing his party has been doing, which is to turn this country into a theocracy and a police state.
* There is NO COMPARISON between the two parties. You can say they both have their own problems maybe, but it is completely ignorant to say that they are the same.
* It is not true that a third party candidate would have the same chance with the same media coverage. There is nothing keeping any of them from raising money the way Barack Obama has - from his supporters and his party.
This country, as we know it, is hanging by a thread. If you want to stick your head in the sand and spew some worn cliches, that's fine. But you had better be willing to suffer the consequences for your apathy, and the regret and resentment of people like me when my children and grandchildren have to pay the debts of the crooks who have destroyed this country, or if we have to leave this country because people like you didn't help save it.
By the way- can we start writing the drinking game for the debates?
Every time McCain brings up his POW line, do a shot of cold sake.
Every time McCain brings up his military service, do a shot of whiskey and fire your gun in the air.
Every time Obama says Hope, have a glass of water to clear your head if you're not too slogged from all the sake and whiskey and/or your roof hasn't fallen because it's full of bullet holes.
I'm sure McSame hears voices, but it sure ain't God!
I'll admit it, I'm involved with the Green Party. But I'm voting for Obama/Biden. I disagree with Green Party higher-ups that the party should be running people at the presidential level. I've been arguing for 5 years now that the party needs to be concentrating on local and state races, building up a solid base before even thinking about running somebody for president. For a valid presidential run there would need to be an active, sizable, and visible Green Party organization in every one of the 50 states, and that just isn't happening.
My own state of RI is a prime example; we used to have a Green Party affiliate here called the Cool Moose Party, and it always used to run Bob Healey for governor. We actually got enough votes for a while there to have the party listed on the ballot, and not just listed as "Independent". But nothing ever came of it. Now in every gubernatorial election Bob runs for lieutenant governor on the platform that if elected he'll abolish the office as a useless waste of taxpayer's money. But until we get actual candidates for General Assembly, and beyond that get them elected, there really won't ever be a valid Green Party presence in RI.
So I'm voting for Obama. It would be nice if the Green Party could grow to national size, but for the moment is just ain't happening, and voting for the Green Party ticket in this election would only be adding to McCain's advantage.
people are willing to settle for what's in their face. They are not willing to create an alternate choice by raising their millions of collctive voices.
Let's say we are faced with a choice of Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein for a choice.
Would you vote for the lesser of two evils?...or would you raise the consciousness of the masses to bring a third option into the light?
I still say voting for the lesser of two evils makes us look like the countries we send our troops off to liberate.
Republican or Democrat, those two choices have proven to both be detrimental to the success of our country. I am for change, and I believe getting away from those already entrenched to be un-trenched.
If you feel that is an ignorant point of view, then the majority of this country are apathetic.
What do you think it would take for most people in this country to abandon the two party system?
Just curious to hear your thoughts.
I refrain from expressing exactly my choice, because Americans to do their homework and research so they can make an intelligent choice in this election, preferably without media hype, stereotypical motivators, and the constant slander.
The hardest thing is to stay neutral, like a teacher who has to teach theory or theology.
The students must do the homework in order to understand where they got their opinion and why they believe it is the best one.
The teacher must stay neutral.
What would it take?
Take the time spent in Wal Mart, the local mall, staring at sports or mindless TV shows and listening to the likes of "John-boy and Billy"....and actually spend the time researching and contacting their representatives. DIG for the info on the alternative options for President.
Personally, I think that if the media had not hyped the issue of Obama and Hillary being 'different' the alternatives would not have been buried to begin with. The media did a fine job of making it (once again) a two-party race, a'la "Wag The Dog".
I work 60 hours a week.
I sleep 56 hours a week.
I travel to and from work, 12 hours a week.
Getting ready for work takes an hour which includes making breakfast, so there's 6 hours.
Making dinner and spending some time with my family, a MINIMUM of one hour a night makes 6-12 more hours a week.
Total it all up and I have about 146 hours tied up in just making life happen.
With the remaining 22 hours, have to maintain my yard, do house repairs, maintain vehicles and help clean house.
I have no time for TV which makes me the *least* influenced person trying to make my choice for president.
Personally, I would like to hear from those of the same opinion.
Is there anyone out there who is looking for the way out of this same-old-dem/rep routine?

I'm not where I can remember how to do a hyperlink, so you'l have to copy/paste that one.
Thanks for your interest, Nick!
Like you, my entire life is consumed with work. Either the 60-70 hours a week doing my day gig, the many hours at night and on the weekends writing for an on-line magazine...etc, the entire house thing, parents to help ... etc. I know what you mean.
But thanks for the info.
When you throw away a vote, Eric, that makes you willing to settle for more of what you've had the last twelve years. I see you conveniently ignored the difference between the two parties and candidates that have a shot in this race. Why? There IS no comparison. Anyone who says there is, or pretends to be "undecided" is just plain dishonest. Undecided at this point is just another word for racist.
They are not willing to create an alternate choice by raising their millions of collctive voices. Terrible assumption. Some of us are actually happy with what our party philosophy and willing to do the hard work of holding them accountable and working within that party to make a difference. Some of us stay involved every day of every year, and we don't wait until a few months before an election to lecture others about how pathetic they are for actually doing the work and trying to hold this country together.
Let's say we are faced with a choice of Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein for a choice. But that is not what we are faced with. We have Hitler Jr. on the right and a combination of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. on the left.
Would you vote for the lesser of two evils?...or would you raise the consciousness of the masses to bring a third option into the light? I support a party that does not give me an evil candidate in a presidential race, so this is never necessary for me. I work the primaries to voice my opinion and help the masses choose the best of the good candidates available. And at the other end, I find people that I think would make great candidates and ask them to run for local and state offices to support those in higher offices and maybe one day work their way up to those higher offices.
I still say voting for the lesser of two evils makes us look like the countries we send our troops off to liberate.
I still say you ignore the most important part of this conversation. Why? There are not two evil people running in this race. There are not two evil parties in this race. There is one evil party, who sent our troops off to kill people for no reason - NOT to liberate them. We killed their leader when ours is no better. You want more of that? You want to take a chance that your wasted vote will bring us more of that?
Republican or Democrat, those two choices have proven to both be detrimental to the success of our country. I am for change, and I believe getting away from those already entrenched to be un-trenched.
Pathetic argument, Eric. You aren't using your voice for anything but rhetoric. WHAT change are you looking for, and how do you think you will achieve it by throwing your vote away?
If you feel that is an ignorant point of view, then the majority of this country are apathetic. Normally, I would correct you and say that I THINK it is an ignorant point of view because it defies logic. Today, I am angry enough to agree that I FEEL yours is an ignorant point of view. I am angry because you are willing to take a chance on forcing me, my family, and my country into a theocracy and police state.
I'm not where I can remember how to do a hyperlink, so you'l have to copy/paste that one. You typed this on a computer, where you could find that information if you wanted it. I think your comments reflect the same amount of interest in finding out the facts about what is happening in this country right now and the truth about what is happening in this election.
Since you aren't on top of current events, I think I should explain to you how and why, "My friend," are fighting words for many of us. That is what John McCain says when he means another MF combination.

Okay, that's just plain ol' funny. : )
Bullshit, Eric. You aren't doing my homework because you don't even know what's going on. Please, don't insult me. Your "own way" is only for you.
I refrain from expressing exactly my choice, because Americans to do their homework and research so they can make an intelligent choice in this election, preferably without media hype, stereotypical motivators, and the constant slander.
Ooops. I spoke too soon. You know I am doing my homework, and you know you are only thinking about you.
The hardest thing is to stay neutral, like a teacher who has to teach theory or theology. The students must do the homework in order to understand where they got their opinion and why they believe it is the best one. The teacher must stay neutral.
But you aren't teaching anything, Eric. You have not told us one single thing about your third party candidate and why that person is better suited for the job. NOT ONE SINGLE THING about your party or your candidate.
What would it take? Take the time spent in Wal Mart, the local mall, staring at sports or mindless TV shows and listening to the likes of "John-boy and Billy"....and actually spend the time researching and contacting their representatives. DIG for the info on the alternative options for President.
Do you have any idea how foolish you look when you make this inaccurate, insulting assumption about those of us who have obviously done far more research than you? You need to turn on a television and get over your mindlessness, because you don't have a clue what is really going on around you.
Personally, I think that if the media had not hyped the issue of Obama and Hillary being 'different' the alternatives would not have been buried to begin with. The media did a fine job of making it (once again) a two-party race, a'la "Wag The Dog". Again, you've spouted the cutesy rhetoric for your third party hoopla, but you don't have a clue.
I work 60 hours a week. Why? The liberals and unions fought hard for a 40 hour week.
I sleep 56 hours a week. Nobody your age needs that much sleep.
I travel to and from work, 12 hours a week. Why don't you get a job closer to home?
Getting ready for work takes an hour which includes making breakfast, so there's 6 hours. I can make breakfast, shower, dress, and put on make-up in half that time.
Making dinner and spending some time with my family, a MINIMUM of one hour a night makes 6-12 more hours a week. You spend two hours on the road and only spend one with your family? Where are your priorities? Is this how you want your life to be?
Total it all up and I have about 146 hours tied up in just making life happen.
With the remaining 22 hours, have to maintain my yard, do house repairs, maintain vehicles and help clean house. I have no time for TV which makes me the *least* influenced person trying to make my choice for president. Personally, I would like to hear from those of the same opinion. Guess what, Eric? That's how most people live. Seriously, most people work, eat, do yard work, spend time with the family, and make life happen. Many of them are working two and three jobs right now, and not making ends meet, and are without healthcare or enough food to eat. And your third-party, make a non-statement advice advocates taking a chance on making it even worse for them.
Is there anyone out there who is looking for the way out of this same-old-dem/rep routine? Sure, there are many people looking for options. The intelligent ones are also realistic and use logic.
Nick, that isn't original. I got it from Bill Maher. (On the evil television)

That's okay - still funny and you get props for posting funny stuff. : )
Eric, I came back because I criticized you for not addressing my questions and I sorta did the same to you.
If I knew my vote, non-vote, or thrown away vote would help elect either Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein, I would vote for Osama bin Laden because I think his philosophy is more closely aligned with mine. If I understand him correctly (which would mean that I believe he wrote the letters and made the tapes that were presented to me through our media), I understand his major beef to be with people who are trying to impose their religious beliefs on others.
I've seen many comments from Ron Paul supporters on Gather. Earlier this year they were glowing about all the money he had raised, but I see no evidence of his having spent any on his campaign.
I've seen multi-party systems in other countries & it seems to lead to political chaos. In Israel, some tiny, wacko party holds enough seats to swing the leadership to one or another major party. These wack jobs blackmail the major parties to get their outrageous demands put into effect.
Our 2 party system is flawed, but it beats the hell out of a chaotic multi-party system.
I certainly don't consider myself childish. Well, not when it comes to this anyway. : )
OBAMA MUST WIN OR WE'RE DOOMED.
Every time some idiot says there is no difference between the two major parties I want to tear my hair out.
Think of how the past 8 years might have gone if the actual winner, Al Gore, had been sitting in the White House? Ouch, my head hurts and I can hear myself sob.
Remember that the problems we see with Bush and the Republicans are the same kind of problems that occur in every nation through history. You will have more of them no matter who gets elected because they come with the territory. But we can change things so these problems are eliminated once and for all. If you care you will read Invisible Hand.
That's where the "there is no difference" bushit really started angering me. On one hand, we had an idiot who couldn't put together a coherent sentence and had never done anything right in his life. On the other, we had brilliance and integrity. And people wanted us to believe they couldn't see the difference?
Larry, thanks for the link. I will check it out, probably after November 5. I've pretty much dedicated my life to the immediate cause but will bookmark it for later.
Ah, so now the issue of 'race' comes into play.
If you believe in the Bible, then Adam and Eve started us out.
If you believe in Darwinism, we came from cells in the water.
Either way, we all came from the same origin, the human race.
That issue carries no weight.
"Some of us"
exactly my point. "Some of us" are a small portion of the millions who are not doing the kind of research you do. Don't get me wrong here. I am not trying to insult or degrade you in any way, because you open doors of communication on this issue, with excellent research done on your commentary. It is important that people like you try your best to present facts.
"a combination of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. on the left."
...and does this come from his heart or his spin doctors?
Those highly respectable people presented their ideals at the risk of their own well-being.
I do not see where a campaign machine presented their ideals. They lived and died by their own ideals and desires, and presented them at their own expense. The people who follwed them did so because they could see them living by their ideals.
I do not see that in either of the media-hyped candidates, so I have to dismiss that point.
"And at the other end, I find people that I think would make great candidates and ask them to run for local and state offices to support those in higher offices and maybe one day work their way up to those higher offices."
My point exactly.
There are few people taking that kind of interest in the work it takes to present a change to business as usual. The point being that we must do the homework to build the future we desire. We also have the freedom to disagree on which choice we make (ain't it great to live in America?).
You are the exception to the rule! You do the homework!
"You want more of that? You want to take a chance that your wasted vote will bring us more of that?"
...and Mr Obama's party is the only party that can accomplish that?
Again, I have seen no coverage on the part of anyone but McCain and Obama in this election. If we actually had an impartial media, there would more than two options presented as vigorously as these two. What information do you have on the other available candidates? How do they compare to the two being highlighted?
"WHAT change are you looking for?"
I am looking for a candidate who will change the way we have to live.
I want to see the government made to be responsible for the money they take from us in the form of taxation equal to the form this country was based upon escaping.
I want the government to stop saying the prisons are over crowded and asking us to build more, instead of taking law enforcement seriously. Spend the money on the police forces and start making crime a scary approach to making a living. Let prisons become an unsavory place so people will *not* want to go there. Not inhumane, but certainly not the luxurious places we get to see when they campaign for more prison funding.
How about privacy? The IRS is the most intrusive tool the government has. You willfully submit your whole earnings history, everything you posess and everything the bank has a title to, and then the government tools the economy to maximize our expense via tax increases (remember - 'no new taxes') I want my candidate to be willing to dismantle the IRS as it stands (yes, it would take a little time, and yes, there will still be a need for all the personnel at the IRS to be prison guards to accomodate the over-crowding)
My ideal is to replace the Income and all the other assorted taxes and replace them with the 'original' plan. Sales tax only. We would then regain control of our expenses and just maybe get back to the original 40-hour work-week we were all supposed to be able to enjoy. I do not see either candidate focusing on these issues. Every time a candidate proposes actions like these, they get buried by the media.
"Seriously, most people work, eat, do yard work, spend time with the family, and make life happen. Many of them are working two and three jobs right now, and not making ends meet, and are without healthcare or enough food to eat."
This is a result of the 'gotta have generation'...(you know, the ones that feel they have to give them the things they had to live without?) who survived just fine without those things and also learned to work for what they want, appreciating the things they *do* have because they earned them. Credit cards and the lack of self-restraint and budgeting has also caused these kinds of problems. Buying meals at fast-food places instead of bringing lunches to work. Not getting up early enough to have breakfast. Insisting on driving one's own car to work instead of carpooling or finding alternative means. People have caused a considerable amout of this problem no their own, myself included.
These are all things the people in control capitalize on.
Ross Perot tried to run and got buried by the media. Ron Paul has taken the same route, but the game is not over, yet. Just because they are hidden or pulled out does not mean they could not have been voted in by teh public. Poeple do not understand that even with those in the spotlight getting all the attention, they have the option of ignoring both, making the decision they are not what they are looking for, and then simply becoming a mass voice to vote in who they want. That is democracy, and that is what is missing in the election...people who speak up and vote. If the public stood up and said "we want Ron Paul" then what would the other two have to fight it? Nothing! Because the people spoke up! That is Democracy, and that is governing "by the people". Is that too far fetched?
"Nobody needs that much sleep"
Wrong. Good health requires a good night's sleep. Recommended time is 8 hours a night. Some people try to get by on less, but those are the folks I can out-work, even in an 8-hour day. I used to work in a warehouse at 40 years old outrunning people in their teens and 20's...that's bad?
"I can make breakfast, shower, dress, and put on make-up in half that time."
Good for you. Apparently you don't have a disabled partner in the house to care for. I do.
Also, the issue of time with family vs work, I spoke of DEDICATED time with family, you know, catching up with her day and communicating face to face... the rest is cooperative time.
"your third-party, make a non-statement advice advocates taking a chance on making it even worse for them."
Quite the contrary. I am not handing out the answers to the tests - I am advocating that people find out for themselves what they want, what the candidates offer and then to make an informed decision. That is called independence although there is a level of community required, which if all put together would once again change our name back from "America" to "The UNITED States of America"...a term that is getting lost along with the pledge to the flag.
Once again, I admire your dedication and applaud it. You're standing for what you feel is right - that's freedom and independence. You're sharing your knowledge and insight with the rest of the country - that's teamwork/ commmunity.
Ignorance would be for me not to comment or say anything to open up debate...that would be a tragedy in itself.
It is truly amusing to see McCain flip-flop over these past two weeks. A member of the Keating 5 screaming out about government bail-outs!
The man is lost. His party is lost. I am glad to here that Jim L. is moderating. He will add some class and seriousness to the debate. And I'm sure Obama will nail McCain. It will be fun to see how long McCain can keep his psychotic whispering up when challenged. We'll see his explosive temper very soon, I have no doubt.
If you believe in Darwinism, we came from cells in the water.
Either way, we all came from the same origin, the human race.
That issue carries no weight. Side-stepping again, Eric? None of this has anything to do with the issue, which carries a tremendous amount of weight.
exactly my point. "Some of us" are a small portion of the millions who are not doing the kind of research you do. Don't get me wrong here. I am not trying to insult or degrade you in any way, because you open doors of communication on this issue, with excellent research done on your commentary. It is important that people like you try your best to present facts. But you insinuated that anyone who didn't see your third party option hadn't done the research. You didn't say, "I see that you have researched, let me help you with THESE FACTS about my third party candidate." You see what I research, how I form my opinions and give me nothing in return. Nothing but rhetoric, Eric.
"a combination of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. on the left."
...and does this come from his heart or his spin doctors? Seriously, Eric. You want me to put any faith in anything you say when you come back with something this insulting AND ignorant? This tells me that you know nothing about Barack Obama, or me. More rhetoric that sounds suspiciously like it came straight from a spin doctor.
Those highly respectable people presented their ideals at the risk of their own well-being. And you don't think Barack Obama has done the same? Come on!
I do not see where a campaign machine presented their ideals. Who's talking about a campaign machine? I'm talking about A MAN. A real man.
They lived and died by their own ideals and desires, and presented them at their own expense. So has Barack Obama. Where have you been the last four years?
The people who follwed them did so because they could see them living by their ideals. Same with Barack Obama.
I do not see that in either of the media-hyped candidates, so I have to dismiss that point. Because you are blind to the truth. Stay that way if you want, but don't pretend that you uninformed opinions are based on anything other than your own prejudices.
There are few people taking that kind of interest in the work it takes to present a change to business as usual. How do you know there are few people taking that kind of interest? What is 'few' to you? A percentage of the people in your house? A percentage of the people in your neighborhood? A percentage of the people in your party? Or, a percentage of the people in this country? Many of my friends, many people in my political party, and many people in this country do that kind of interest. They might represent a small percentage of the population, but collectively they are not just a 'few' people.
The point being that we must do the homework to build the future we desire. Yes. I've proven that I do mine. You haven't. You have given me NOTHING, Eric. Tell me about your party and your candidate. Anything at all about them.
You are the exception to the rule! You do the homework! No, I am not the exception to the rule. There are many people just like me out there. Many of us who do this every day of every year and exchange that information with others. Do you understand why it upsets me when you blow it off and suggest, without giving me one good reason, that I am foolish and should consider your unexplained option?
...and Mr Obama's party is the only party that can accomplish that? At this point, yes.
Again, I have seen no coverage on the part of anyone but McCain and Obama in this election. Because there is no one else running a campaign.
If we actually had an impartial media, there would more than two options presented as vigorously as these two. What information do you have on the other available candidates? How do they compare to the two being highlighted? You are the one promoting the other options. Tell us about them and why you support them.
And just exactly how is your candidate proposing to do each of these things?
How about privacy? How about it? The Republicans have taken it away. Like that?
The IRS is the most intrusive tool the government has. Surely, you are kidding me. You think your income is your most precious privacy?
You willfully submit your whole earnings history, everything you posess and everything the bank has a title to, and then the government tools the economy to maximize our expense via tax increases (remember - 'no new taxes') I want my candidate to be willing to dismantle the IRS as it stands (yes, it would take a little time, and yes, there will still be a need for all the personnel at the IRS to be prison guards to accomodate the over-crowding) My ideal is to replace the Income and all the other assorted taxes and replace them with the 'original' plan. Sales tax only. We would then regain control of our expenses and just maybe get back to the original 40-hour work-week we were all supposed to be able to enjoy. I do not see either candidate focusing on these issues. Every time a candidate proposes actions like these, they get buried by the media. I hate your idea. I hope your party has something better than this to offer.
Eric, I based my comment exactly on what you told me about your life. Why are you telling me how wrong other people are?
These are all things the people in control capitalize on. All people in control? Even those liberals?
Ross Perot tried to run and got buried by the media. Ross Perot was buried by the media? I don't think so.
Ron Paul has taken the same route, but the game is not over, yet. Just because they are hidden or pulled out does not mean they could not have been voted in by teh public. Why did he run as a Republican?
Poeple do not understand that even with those in the spotlight getting all the attention, they have the option of ignoring both, making the decision they are not what they are looking for, and then simply becoming a mass voice to vote in who they want. Who are these people that don't understand this and are you sure that's why they don't support Ron Paul? I thought the same thing about Dennis Kucinich, but I actually heard people say that he represented everything they wanted. I haven't heard many people say that about Ron Paul. I've heard many people say the thought Ron Paul was a decent guy for a Republican, but not that he represents most of what they want.
That is democracy, and that is what is missing in the election...people who speak up and vote. If the public stood up and said "we want Ron Paul" then what would the other two have to fight it? Nothing! Because the people spoke up! That is Democracy, and that is governing "by the people". Is that too far fetched? If Ron Paul had enough supporters who were willing to move him to the top, it might happen. Where are they and what are they doing?
Wrong. Good health requires a good night's sleep. Recommended time is 8 hours a night. Some people try to get by on less, but those are the folks I can out-work, even in an 8-hour day. I used to work in a warehouse at 40 years old outrunning people in their teens and 20's...that's bad? Wrong. Not everyone requires eight hours sleep, especially at our age.
Good for you. Apparently you don't have a disabled partner in the house to care for. I do. I am the disabled person in my house.
You are also advocating throwing a vote away in the most important election yet. I pledge my allegiance to the principles this country used to be based on, not to a piece of cloth. And I don’t want to be united with people who ignore those principles.
Ignorance would be for me not to comment or say anything to open up debate...that would be a tragedy in itself. I agree. Now, will you tell me how Ron Paul (I assume he is your candidate) plans to solve the biggest problems we are facing today? I’m particularly interested in hearing how he will solve the economic problems with no income tax. If that means I have to pay a 100% sales tax on everything I buy, I’m afraid that won’t work for me.
