Thanks for the collection of evidence showing the incompetence of this individual
I will also vote, but probably not for either candidate.
So far, only views: 3 | comments: 1 yet, if even one person reads it and acts upon the information, I've accomplished my intent.
Has her daughter taken after her mothers example regarding premarital sex ?
Tyranny on Display at the Republican Convention
By Chris Hedges
St. Paul is a window into our future. It is a future where, as one protester told me by phone, “people have been pepper-gassed, thrown on the ground by police who had drawn their weapons, had their documents seized and their tattoos photographed before being taken away to jail.” It is a future where illegal house raids are carried out. It is a future where vans containing heavily armed paramilitary units circle and film protesters. It is a future where, as the protester said, “people have been pulled from cars because their license plates were on a database and handcuffed, thrown in the back of a squad car and then watched as their vehicles were ransacked and their personal possessions from computers to literature seized.” It is a future where constitutional rights mean nothing and where lawful dissent is branded a form of terrorism.

They have to be posting somewhere! Unless they were all loaded on to the bus, and taken to some sort of re-programming.
Libramoon, I cried after I read that very excellent write by Chris Hedges. Was this on national tv? Was this covered? By whom? Damn, I'm going to have to go buy a TV, aren't I?
Sandy, excellent video selections. I'd rather watch Fried Green Tomatoes, but until folks wise up and vote smart, I guess this is my fodder for the day.
I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore (either.)

Gather is a big group and I am sure a big number of people read these articles and watch the videos even if they never comment. The internet is the only source of real news now thanks to independent bloggers that will not sidestep the issues we need information about.
We can also take what we read here to other discussion groups and the more we move around with information the more people become informed.
No matter what party you want to vote for you need the truth about what you are voting for not Washington propaganda hype.
I have seen many instances of police brutality even on handicapped people for no reason in the last three years and its fortunate that people can take videos and pictures so easy today or a lot of criminals in uniform would get away with this home grown terrorism.
This brutality comes from political leaders mainly the wing nut neocon loonys that want to start enforcing civil law with military troops.
Whenever we can we need to get the truth out to as many people as possible.
and the repubs did even worse during their conventions.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right
of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Libramoon, I checked THE document, and we have a right to assemble, any style, as long as we're not unpeaceful.
I am so upset about this. I remember crying over Kent State...
We simply can NOT allow this to happen.
W
Libramoon, thanks for the link. I'm with Wilka, it makes me cry - mostly because all the signs are here and some people still think it's about "getting bad guys".
I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore (either.) I hope this spreads.
We can also take what we read here to other discussion groups and the more we move around with information the more people become informed. This is what I'm hoping for, Jack. We have to do it because it's obvious the media won't do it for us.
Isn't it amazing how so called Christian people who support this type civil tyrany don't see the irony in it. Spencer, it's hard to believe so many people can be so blind.
It's just that most people who watch/read these seem to be either those who already agree with you, or those who completely disagree and want to respond with an attack. I hope, of course, that among the quiet viewers there are some whose minds can be changed.
Yesterday, a Democratic strategist said that Obama's campaign should hit McCain with the words "honor" and "dishonor."
The double-speak videos are extremely dishonorable, in my opinion. How can anyone trust anything that he says?
Damn "Liberal media"! Nice selection Sandy!

As usual, most people will cast their vote in complete ignorance, except for the doubts raised by the Republican attack ads.
Yea. I caught that.
Sept. 16 (Bloomberg) -- As Wall Street's financial crisis deepens, presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain are looking to some of the nation's top economists for advice.
“Obama yesterday held a phone call with one-time Treasury secretaries Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers, who won praise a decade ago for helping avert other potential meltdowns, and former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, credited with halting the raging inflation of the late-1970s and early-'80s.
“McCain on Saturday talked with Harvard economics Professor Martin Feldstein, a onetime adviser to President Ronald Reagan, Stanford University economist John Taylor and former Hewlett- Packard Co. Chief Executive Carly Fiorina.”
Allow me to interrupt right here to knock B.O. and McInSane upside their heads for ignoring the true prophet of the economic crisis; the one who has been forewarning of this right out there in the open for anyone to hear for decades on end. Not that they have two brain cells between them to rub together and grasp what Ron Paul has been saying for years.
Continuing...
``You won't be able to get the economy moving again, create jobs, without fixing the mess in our financial system,'' said Obama economic adviser Jason Furman.
Insightful. How much you paying Furman, B.O.?
McCain ``has been calling for some time for a focus on the economy,'' Fiorina said in an interview.
Another strong, sweeping response. Focusing on the economy != knowing how to address the economic situation correctly.
Both campaigns argued that their candidate was first out of the gate in warning of the credit crisis, which led to the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and the sale of Merrill Lynch & Co. to Bank of America.
Both campaigns have lying boneheads as candidates. We know who knew about the economic warning signs long ago; probably even before B.O. was out of diapers.
Adviser Fiorina said McCain would address the situation by ``making sure that it never happens again.''
...wait for it...
Neither Obama nor McCain has offered specific fixes.
Ye-up. Leadership we can believe in.
Just so no one here will be totally SHOCKED by their response(s), which will be the same only different:
More oversight and tighter regulation of the banking, investment and/or mortgage industries. Yepper - more government control!
There is no point in worrying about the erosion of personal freedom that is the reality of our present era if we can do nothing about it. They say that knowledge is power, but that is one of the greatest myths of all history.
Knowledge without action is useless and leads only to apathy and despair. So the question is: what type of action can reverse this trend? Writing letters and signing petitions to the same people who have created the problem is not going to do it.
Voting for candidates selected by power brokers with hidden agendas will not do it either. There have been many proposals to reverse the tide of totalitarianism but, after decades of effort, none of them have worked.
In this address, G. Edward Griffin, Founder of Freedom Force, tells us why; and the reason is so simple, it will astound you.
Once we clear away that single barrier, the plan for a pro-active counter-force falls quickly into place. This is the missing piece of the puzzle, the ultimate solution we have been seeking.

I guess the Palin addition "scared" the Dems. into believing they should have "chosen" her in the first place.
Now, what could happen next should not shock ANYONE who knows the history of the Clintons and their hunger for power and control.
ANYONE want to say it out loud? Anyone?????
BRZEZINSKI: OBAMA'S GLOBALIST "RASPUTIN"
Zbigniew Brzezinski is Barack Obama’s foreign policy advisor.
Brzezenski was the national security advisor for President Carter from 1977 to 1981.
In 1988 he endorsed HW Bush for President and was Co-Chair of the HW Bush national security advisory task force.
From 1987 to 1989 he also served on the HW Bush’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board. Clinton Secretary of State Madeline Albright was a student of Brzezenski..
GW Bush Secretary of State, Condi Rice (also a former national security advisor), who studied under Albright’s father, shares many of the same world government views with Brzezinski and Albright.
Zbigniew Brzezinski is an advocate of socialist world government, a goal he has promoted as a member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and as a speaker at former Soviet Premier and Communist Mikhail Gorbachev’s first World Forum.
Brzezinski is an architect of creating regions of global governance from independent nations to achieve world government.
At the World Forum Brzezenski described the global regions that are now being put into place under Condi Rice: Israel and the Palestinians (now MEFTA, Middle East Free Trade Association), Iran as part of a Central Asian region, and China as part of a Far Eastern region.
As a member of CSIS Brzezinski has guided their efforts to publish the North American Integration Monitor (2002) that calls for the loss of US sovereignty to a North American Union (NAU) as one of the regional global government blocks.
Obama has proposed a global poverty tax in a US Senate bill. The Climate Change Control Bill strongly supported by Obama calls for an international governing regime to monitor and regulate carbon dioxide and “carbon footprints” from discovery, to production, to consumption at a cost of $50 trillion globally and at a cost of $8 trillion for US taxpayers, all to be paid for by a global tax, whose monies will be used to establish a world government body.
Obama, Brzezinski and Al Gore have worked closely with Communist backed environmental fronts led by Gorbachaev (proponent of Earth Charter, author of Manifesto for Earth), to promote the falsehood of significant global climate change due to manmade sources of greenhouse gases to scare the world and the US into paying such a global tax to “save the planet.”
THE REST IS AS BAD OR WORSE. Please check it out yourselves - he has introduced legislation to promote these goals.

Great observation Bert. I hope the Obama folks are ready for a last minute smear and misinformation campaign designed to strike fear into the hearts of uninformed who still mange to vote. 37% of people will believe what someone says over their own thoughts and observations. 37% comes from as study by Asch and is part of what critical thinkers call groupthink. Politicians have read critical thinking and sociology books, are aquainted with this statistic and use it to persuade the 37% of groupthinkers. The last 2 elections may have been decided by using groupthink psychology.
Thanks Sandy for your great work. We appreciate what you've done. It's very important that reason wins in the next election.
Now, let me go do an article and put up all those Obama treasures you missed...
