I think he probably would not.

Geeesch! And he still gets applause.
Go figure.
W
People hear what they want to hear. I wonder if he ever got the specific numbers of the specific bills the questioner was referring to.
"Why didn't another person in the group state that he did not answer the question that was asked?"
From now on, if I'm pulled over by a cop, I guess it's okay if I read him my grocery list.
And, if you ask me a question about carpeting, I'm going to tell you that I have 40 lamps in my house. Now THAT's communication!
Geeesch!
But Turd Blossom can!
What a pathetic man.
He is very good at evading the truth about his record.
Just check with the DAV, VoteVets.org, or ask a vet (under the age of 70) how they feel about the abusive treatment by members of congress like Senile Johnny in regards to the lack of increased healthcare benefits, lack of a new GI Bill (despite his lies, McSame did not support the bill until it became obviously inevitable).
Jim, that was my first thought, "how the Hell did this guy get into this 'Open Meeting' of dedicated McSame (athletic) supporters?"
I bet you someone lost their job that night!
It does speak to their campaign's lack of vetting capabilities when you add in the Sarah Failin' nomination.
That is why we keep re-electing Republicans.
This is exactly the same thing he did on the View, not one of the women interviewers on the show got to talk for more than 10 seconds.
He lies, she lies, it lies.
because it doesn't make sense!
Truer words were never spoken than those that speak them while looking at a mirror.
eh louis?
Plan B is pretty simple: DO NOT ENGAGE! Repeat, do NOT engage! Remain calm. Act like you're listening to the question, lob a bunch of talking points and non sequiturs at it and move on...
One of the things I actually used to respect about John McCain - and this was not too terribly long ago, a matter of months, really - was the fact that he pretty much granted the media unrestricted access. The problem was that, when just about anybody could ask him just about anything and he'd TRY to answer it, he wasn't considered a particularly viable candidate because he had a tendency to say a lot of contradictory, uninformed and otherwise indefensible things. There were many who thought he was his own worst enemy.
But his handlers put a stop to that. I actually remember hearing the news story about it on NPR. Enter Sarah Palin a couple weeks later, and the sort of unfathomable media storm she's generated, and suddenly he's 'in the running' again.
You know he does not want Barack Obama at these functions. His/their constant ranting about how Obama is afraid to do the Town Hall meetings with him are absurd. For one thing, you couldn't fit an Obama crowd in a Town Hall and he tries to be accessible to as many people as want to be there. I heard early on that Obama said no because McCain did want to screen the crowd and questions. I don't know that this is true, but I have no trouble believing it.
Julie, I wish people would do that. You can see that he was very close to losing his temper here. That probably would have sent him over the edge.
I checked his records online he has F for the environment, and has not supported supplies including vest for the soldiers in 2004.This was not new money, they would appropriate
430k from recosntruction of IRAQ for the purpose.
I think he is demented and goes along with whatever they tell him to do to get elected.
He is not trustworthy neither has a president or someone to get rid of Rove or stop pork or any promess he makes.
capt seeweed? why do you hate america?
Why and how do you come to the conclusion that I hate America? I have never said anything to indicate a positoion of that type all.
your posts are anti America. every last one of them. that you put Republican party before the good of the country is anti American.
Republicans say obama never went against his party....HE DIDN'T HAVE TO...his party WAS RIGHT!
HE WAS RIGHT!
You say congress has a lower approval than Bush? ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT STOPPED HIM FROM PURSUING HIS AND YOUR POLICIES.....NOT THAT THEY DISAGREE WITH CONGRESS BUT THAT CONGRESS HAS NOT WORKED HARD ENOUGH TO STOP YOU!
The country is going inthe wrong direction and McPalin will only continue that direction. Don't you get it?
Although McCain didn't actually answer the question posed to him, he did speak for quite a long time, fulfilling the impression of an answer in sheer bulk of time spent talking. It's the equivalent of meeting the word count on an assignment without actually writing an essay with content.
In the immediate setting, in that room, the audience does not have the time to process the entire speech, only that one was given -- a long response to a posed question, regardless of content or merit -- and thus the feeling is that the exchange took place and it is time to clap and move on to the next contestant.
Why oh why oh why oh why is this goof going up in the polls? I must be missing something Because the pollsters aren’t reaching (or even trying to, in some instances) a good cross section, and they design their questions to suit their purpose.
What is McCain's answer for that particular problem? I’m not sure John McCain has a plan (for anything) but I think the Republican spin on this (especially in “small town” is that they will provide two part-time jobs for everyone who has lost a job. Of course, we know that usually means no benefits, but who needs benefits?
that you put Republican party before the good of the country is anti American. Absolutely! But, that’s what the Republican party embraces: Me and mine.
It's the equivalent of meeting the word count on an assignment without actually writing an essay with content. Perfect analogy, Dannielle. No matter what the question, John McCain either reverts to his canned stump speech or goes into the tired old POW saga.
McCain Voted Against Birth Control Under Health Insurance
McCain Voted Against Medicaid for Infants and Pregnant Women
McCain Opposed the GI Bill for Veterans
McCain Voted Against Health Care for Veterans
McCain Voted Against Safety Equipment for Troops
All he cares about his own awards!! What an egomaniac.
Firstly, an anti American statement is not necessarily based on a hatred of America. How one concludes thusly is based on factors only the maker of the statement can define. Further you would be hard pressed to find very many anti American statements made by me which of course is irrelevant to hatred.
Secondly and totally irrelevant to any thing germane to answering how you conclude I have this "hatred" is your statement about never going against ones party.... Obamas party is equally wrong if not more so on what is good for this country as are other political parties which is why America needs to be fixed--not "changed". That has nothing to do with hate.
Thirdly I don't ever recall stating the FACT that congress has a lower approval rating than Bush but that information is FACT and therefore can not be construed as "hateful". YOU might hate comments of that nature as they reflect FACTS you don't like but that doesn't make the comment hateful.
So you have not adequately defended your position on why you think I "hate America" so I would request you cease to make those kinds of bogus statements as concerns me.
Finally I fear you are the one that does not get it. Obama will push us deeper and faster toward socialism than any other candidate including Clinton ever dreamed of. That is what he has been espousing defining under his banner of change for the last 18 months. Bush will change the country by attempting to fix the mess it has become but keeping it intact as to how it was conceived and needs to continue. Either way it is a win win situation for me. I either get McCain who will try to preserve the America I grew up in and understand, thereby allowing me to live in the greatest country of freedom ever attempted in the history of mankind where I can work hard and free and pursue a life that gives me happiness. Or I get Obama and I don't have to plan on my future at all cause the Government will take care of me at the expense of those that are fortunate enough to escape the confines of the socialistic system around them.
Does anyone know what the idiot Capt. is talking about? The writing is incomprehensible.
Gary
You might want to join sharon in a little remedial English class as well.
I ASK AGAIN....CAPT WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA?
You repeat yourself yet you have failed to explain why you would conclude that attitude can be attached to me. So if I must, and to help you clarify your confusion, let me say in exact words that even a child can understand .... I do not hate America. Hopefully you will be able to move on now.
you have to love this guy in the video! Than "Jukebox Johnny" danced away again!!
He's called Obama and McCain to visit with him privately. He either wants to show them something they are not yet privvy too, so they'll jump on board to his plan and help persuade the people, or he's going to get together with them and say, "O.K., come on guys, what do you want in order to get on board with my plan, and help persuade the people".
He talks and laughs, and people can see that he is another George Bush.
His choice of Palin is as dumb as it gets.
Obama will walk all over McCain in November.
That is clear.
George, you got it! He is another George Bush. The party has one brain and it doesn't seem to be working well.
