And just this morning, Sant Singh Chatwal (chariman of "American Indians for Democrats") has pledged $10 million for the Obama campaign. Chatwal has been a strong fund raiser for Hillary Clinton until the hand-holding,Kumbaya signing campfire held last night where Hillary introduced Obama to "Her" people. Didn't these people know who Obama was? Oh yeah, this was so Obama could look into their wallets and sell his soul.

Everything "New" is "OLD" again!!! So much for the "CHANGE" we all hoped for. To me at least it now looks like old Washington politics is back in the saddle - this time with a new horse named Obama.

Hillary Rodham Clinton represents EVERYTHING wrong with American politics today and it pains me, an independent, to see Obama forced to play nicey-nice with this worthless piece of politcal garbage. And to witness his poor wife have to do the same. How very, Very sad it is, but hey - Terry McCaulife was certainly smiling last night. Do you think he gets a "cut" of every dollar that the Clintonistas now pledge to Obama?

I assume that "her" is Hillary Clinton. Her support is simply to maintain some degree of power within the corrupt Democratic party - that and an attempt to hold some kind of ransom over Obama to try and get her "big fat ass" out of the financial mess she has gotten herself into. And this is what we want to represent the first female presidential candidate? Thank God she's done...now maybe, just maybe we can get her the hell out of the senate as well.

Paul G. simply stated that Bush & Kim Il are now buddies and then went on to poke fun at it. No one commenting has praised Bush or called it groundbreaking.

Okay, John. As much as it pains me to do so, I have to give Dubya credit for making some progress on the Korean front. How much personal credit he deserves is highly doubtful, however. Condi Rice may deserve somewhat more of the credit, and the career diplomats working for her substantially more. The progress they have made has come despite the administration's own professed recalcitrance--and the active resistance of Dick Cheney. It's something of a miracle, really, that they managed to accomplish anything of value.

And, the question of exactly how much real progress has been made is still very much open to question. The North Koreans' grand gesture in exploding their reactor's cooling tower may impress some, but unless it is followed up by the dismantling of the reactor itself it's little more than showmanship. And there's no telling how much fissile material they've managed to produce, or where it's going to wind up.

Paul maybe we should give the credit to the NY Philharmonic, instead of Dubya, eh? I think that was the groundbreaking event.

As for the Lovefest today, I totally missed it, haven't had the TV on at all today, nice reprieve, and I doubt if I missed anything. I do believe Hillary is being honest when she says her main objective now is for the party to unite and win in the Fall, but I just couldn't bear to watch the media spin it today. I think both Hillary and Obama realize the importance of beating George W McCain in the Fall. I know I do, and I'm not even a politician.

Interesting. When it comes to Hillary debt she did a bad job of financial management and running her campaign when there was a true way of securing the nomination didn't help any either.

Too bad there isn't a lottery or something to restore the lonesome losers from the pit of despair and self-loathing that they seem to be wallowing in most of the time. There are far more of them than in the opposing camp of certified winners. But boy, do they not enjoy a getting back into the dirt if an opportunity presents itself? A special breed with an inborn need to diagnose what's wrong in the world and offer a solution, but so lacking in self-criticism! If only they'd turn the lens full on themselves, what a change they'd see come about. What a beautiful world this could be.

I'm seeing Hillary and Obama trying to bring the party together now. Of course, they both benefit by doing this and the US will benefit Jan. 20. 2009, when there is no more bush or mcbush sitting in the White House.

And speaking of W, it's interesting now that he's befriending the only person who has probably done a worse job at running a country that he has. It's like he can now say, "Sure, I suck, but this guy sucks more. He keeps food away from starving children."

I don't really like to discuss politics. I just came over to give you stars. Though I am always interested in relationships... It's obvious Barack and Hillary are having a romantic relationship....that would explain the complete inconsistency in their feelings for each other.
