I think the majority of us know that FOX news is not "fair and balanced" as they claim. But they are stooping to a new low in their smear campaign against Obama. Robert Greenwald released a short YouTube video called "FOX Attacks Obama: Part 2"-his second video detailing how FOX continuously attacks Barack Obama. But worse, he shows how other networks are repeating FOX's smears word-for-word! MoveOn and Greenwald's Brave New Films are launching a petition to major media outlets that says: "FOX is a Republican mouthpiece, not a legitimate news organization. Real news organizations must reject FOX's smears of Barack Obama, not parrot them."
Please watch the new Fox Attacks video and sign the petition to the media today.

Thank you.
Who is watching FOX except far right wingnuts? Not even a month ago all over the net people claimed the media was "hard on Hillary", soft on Obama.
Looks to me like The wingnuts are running scared. Obama has his following and I don't think they're going to turn against him no matter what FOX says.
And yes, Debra, I would agree. They wouldn't be going after Obama if they weren't scared.
Good. Thanks for that news. Do you have a reference?
Carla: "McCain has not done the same with regard to Revs. Hagee and Parsley, who are much more over-the-top radical hate-mongers than Wright ever was."
Well, if McCain is pandering to religious psychotics, that's his liability. He has a more weighty millstone around his neck, IMO: bush. In any case, religious psychosis is invariably destructive, and I'm glad to hear Obama confronted it.
Obama Denounces Statements of His Pastor as 'Inflammatory'
Nuclear Leaks and Response Tested Obama in Senate
Do you think rich white Republican church folks want to hear the truth about how they have behaved? NO! What they do want is to keep their power, so they think they need a McCain-Clinton race come Fall, because they believe they can beat her. So they will stay on this at all costs, no matter how mant times Obama denounces and rejects the Rev.
And Hilary is playing right into their trap instead of stepping aside, because her career just can't come to an end now. She also will do anything.
I think all Obama supporters should do a write-in for him on their ballot come Fall if he isn't on the ticket. Maybe you can get Move-On to spread the word on that Carla. I would, but I am not a member.
And yes, I also agree that Hillary is thinking more of herself than the party or the country for that matter. Many Republicans crossed over to vote for her in the Texas primary because they believe that McCain can beat her in November. She, of course, will not acknowledge that. As said before, the attacks now on Obama are coming because of the fear that he will receive the nomination.
Rosa, let's think positive and believe that Obama will get the nomination. And as far as Moveon, anyone can join it. Just get on and sign the petition. They'll put you on their list and send you updates on what is going on. It's a good organization to belong to, because they help to get the word out.
I thought about this for a very long time. Way before the MSM picked on this. It was out there and I read about it. At the end of the day any honest American has to know that those Katrina victims were not singing "God Bless America." American citizens with Arab names victim of the Patriot Act did not sing "God Bless America" while captured and handled without due process. We build more jails than we spend money on educating our inner city youth. Yet some people want to want to ignore all that and pretend that we all get along and everything is fine. I am very happy these issues are being discussed. Wait they are not discussing, they are condemning the whole thing. When the dust settles, they shall look deep into the aches of American, for a better America.
No "But...". I'm not asking you to change your support of Obama. I will vote for him if he is the nominee. I'm asking you to address this issue with the Obama campaign and your fellow Obama supporters.
Media is still as superficial as ever. The country is diverted from the real issues just as easily as ever, IMO. That said, Porgie T., Sam Carana, and Sherwood M. have written good articles on the nuclear industry's attempts at a so-called "renaissance". If you're not familiar with this issue, these are good sources.
Nuclear power plants have been a concern of mine since the beginning. There are too many possibilities for things to go wrong and for targeting by terrorist groups. The waste is a problem too.
What you see as a "smear campaign" is actually called "negative media exposure," and it happens to every candidate. It's no surprise that other news outlets are reporting negative stories about Obama. You didn't expect him to get some kind of "pass," did you?
And who pray tell are all these "many liberal commentators"? Please send us a list so we can verify their credentials and their ties to "liberal" institutions or think tanks.
But of course, they attacked him then because he was not far enough to the right.
Now that they are stuck with him, he is still more to the right than Obama.
I still do not consider that fair and balanced.
Sadly it gave Rev. Wright his Kato Kaitlyn moment of shame. And he went looney tunes on it. Seriously! And So the whole church was under attack. And no it is not a racist church. So the Obama's sent in their letter of resignation from the church and at no point in doing so did they attack the church. They apologized to it for all the media attention focused on the church.
Meanwhile McCain spent MONTHS trying to obtain the endorsement of two very bif Evangelical ministers. Who eventually gave it to him and then they went and showed their own insanity that was actually far worse than the one clip of Rev. Wright played over and over and over. This got VERY LITTLE COVERAGE.
Even after Wright was replaced and the Obama's had resigned from the church they were still getting blamed for everyone who ever was in that church or anyplace the Obama's had ever once been or thought of going and the other person flatulated. But cue Barack he must be responsible??Does this make ANY sense to ANYONE? Not as a campaign strategy as "news"?
You are right the other news organizatons must start refusing to report on non-news events or issues.
Jared, you are right, a great defense is to contribute even if it is just a little, I will do so.
On the times that FOX news has reported on GOP scandals it is less reporting (unless it is at a local level, ironically our local Fox news is really pretty good, it is the rest that should be shunned, and possibly sued for false advertising) and more about spinning it and putting lipstick and the multitudes of pigs that they have seemed to almost thrive on these last 7 years.
As far as any concern about Obama and Nuclear Energy. John McCain has been saying he is completely for it and woudl have X number of plants built across the country. So big whoop.
How come no one listens when Big Oil keeps making GIANORMOUS profits while gouging us while we have an administration that to say they are oil men is like saying the tin man squeaked a bit now and then, wow what a pairing they would make...but oil man , tin man...same sex no go?
