Is it just me, or does it not seem like we are in a perpetual Presidential Campaign. I realize the mid-term elections were more hotly contended this last year than normal. But, it seems like they were almost an extension of a Presidential Campaign that somehow fails to ever resolve itself.
Maybe it was the rampant voter fraud in 2000 and 2004. But it seems like we are in a perpetual free fall when no sooner are the results fraudulent or otherwise in, then off we go into another campaign season.
During all of this, who is actually governing the nation? Perhaps there should be some bar against running for the Presidency when you are holding a position in Congress. There needs to be something that will stop the dance long enough so that people can do their jobs, not just try to keep their jobs.
