Okay, he's invoked execcutive priviledge on the CIA spy exposure and flipped on his Iran policy and is now sending reps to talk to Iran. With all he's got on his presidential resume after nearly eight years, you probably have an opinion formed about him. So here are the burning questions:
You get a call from the Secret Service, George Bush wants to come over for dinner tonight.
1. Do you accept his offer and invite him into your house or egg his car when he pulls up?
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not?
No holds barred but please keep it clean.

she's real picky about who get into the yard
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans? Nothing - he doesn't come
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not? No - because that would imply I had respect for it during the years prior to the last 7.5 years.
The Constitution guarentees us the right to "address the government for a redress of grievances". What better way than to have an hour or two alone with the president.
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
Whatever the family is eating, usually chicken or hamburger.
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not?
All of our elected officials take an oath to "uphold the constitution." The president and most of congress have spent the lst 7 1/2 years trying to finagle 'work-arounds" or just flagrantly ignoring it altogether.
This behavior does not earn my respect, even on those rare occasions when the intentions may be honorable.
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
probably burgers he seems more like the burger type.
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why
or why not?
No not at all. I think he has done the best he can and has done what he believes to be right for the country.
2. Serve him his favorite meal, whatever that is.
3. No I have not. If anything, I respect him more for staying the course and remaining true to his beliefs, and going against the tide.
I would accept his offer, but let him know right up front, that I ''never'' have regarded him ''my'' president, and that I am disgusted at what he has done to this country. Then If he still wanted to come over, I would be a gracious host.
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
I would probably serve him a TV dinner, or maybe caned soup and a sandwich, as his economy has reduced a number of Americans to eating just that.
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not?
Yes!! Because of his record on the middle class and the poor. Then I would ask him if he would buy my house for a pretty hefty profit to me, since this is supposed to be a part of my retirement, and it's partially his fault that the value of it has declined.
Hey, you asked!!!
I would accept his offer and invite him in. But I"d have my kids unload a carton of eggs on his wheels when the secret service wasn't looking.
I'd serve him burgers and beans.
I have lost respect for the office of President over my lifetime. The more the president tries to "rule" the country the more I lose respect. Congress should be having a bigger influence on our government- at least it says so in the Constitution.
I'm sure we could find something to talk about...
Trust me the secret service is always looking. I have a friend in the secret service that works the presidents detail.
1. I'll gladly accept -if- the event is broadcasted "live" over national TV, radio and the internet;
2. I'll serve him whatever I believe is fit for a guest — and it'll most likely be very good;
3. My respect for Americans is higher than ever but however, I can't find it in me to respect people who carry their secret agendas over and above all other agendas, especially those which would be best for the American citizens — I'll allow for GWB to entertain me (for as long as he wishes) regarding this matter.
A Head of State visiting you, at your own house, is a rare opportunity to (realistically) be lied at most of the time -but- if you listen carefully, there's a chance you might learn a few interesting things, in the process.
1. Do you accept his offer and invite him into your house or egg his car when he pulls up?
First I cry and scream and say every cuss word I know, and then I say, "If I have to."
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
Half of whatever I planned to have myself.
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not?
The office? I have no respect for Bush, but that's nothing new. I had no respect for him 8 or 9 years ago, either. I have no respect for the people who put him where he is today, or who have supported him. But I have no hard feelings toward the office or the position.
I would absolutely and gladly accept his offer. What better chance to give direct feedback, good and bad, to the one person who has taken on the responsibility of running the country? I would certainly welcome the opportunity to explain my point of view to him. It's too late to change what he's done, but perhaps he could still make useful contributions in his post-President life, as have Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush.
2. What are you serving him? Steak and lobster or burgers and beans?
Who cares.
3. Have you lost respect for the office of the President during the last 7.5 years? Why or why not?
I haven't lost respect for the office of the President, just respect for the man who has been serving in that office for the last 7.5 years. Respect for the office itself can be restored by electing and holding accountable a new President in November. This is what I plan to do, and having a one-on-one conversation with the outgoing President can provide valuable insight into how to work with the incoming President.
I have lost no respect of the office of the presidency during his horrific, miserably failed, corrupt 7-1/2 years of terror, because, regardless of how corrupt and pathetic he's been, the office itself remains better than him, by far. Someone with integrity can and hopefully will restore integrity and some degree of honesty, as well as constitutionality to the white house, once junior is thrown out on his sorry ass.
I just recently did a service call where a woman complained that her kitchen sink would not drain all the way. She used a well known company but they scheduled a return appointment so far out she refused to wait that long. I arrived and as soon as I opened the cabinet doors under the sink I saw the problem. The trap from the sink was lower than the drain pipe leading to the basement which meant water had to run uphill to drain which it will not. I simplt cut about three inches of than drain pipe off and installed a cupling and all was fine. Even though a well known company had done the work it still was done wrong. The same way I feel about GWB. He is a well known source but did not do the job well enough to satisfy my needs.
Serve him food. He better fix the economy if he is hungry.
He pardoned himself for the war crimes he committed. He may still have to answer to NATO.
I liked the way you framed the questions.
