Can You Tell the Difference In These Images?

It was one of those rare occasions when I was up and going before the sun rose, so I decided to take a picture of it (I knew nobody would believe me otherwise - lol!). Normally, I change the setting on my camera from "natural color" to "high color". It was early, so I forgot to change it before I took the picture. I was getting ready to go back inside when I realized my error, so I quickly changed the setting and took another shot. I had intended to just delete the first one, but after looking at it, I couldn't tell the difference in the pictures. I always thought there would be an obvious visible difference in the images, similar to "regular quality" versus "high quality". I was very disappointed when I realized that this was not the case, but perhaps it is just me. Therefore, I am asking you. Can you tell the difference in these two pictures?

I think there's a slight difference. The high color picture seems to be just a bit more defined.

Bit more red in the "high color". But that could be just the slight difference in the angle of
the sun.

Very slight difference in the color of the clouds, but not much.
I've tried doing the same thing with my camera- it has a high color, natural color, low color settings but I can't tell a difference on them really. :(

Yep...there is a fine difference between the two...I see more color depth in the high color image. At least a shade more in each color. Lets say for example that one has about two shades of blue in the sky where as the other has 4 or 5. I detect a little more blue, a little more black, a little more reddish orange, and a little more greenish yellow.

Slight difference. Both are beautiful.

there is a slight difference in the two photos Leah....I think if you had prints done you'd be able to see the difference a little more

I would say object definition is the difference. Some of the smaller objects have a more distinct presence in the hi-colour.

There is a very small difference , but if take a look at the small opening between the tree the back ground you can differenciate a slight difference.

Thank you all for looking at these images and commenting. I've read all your comments and really looked at the two images together, and there is a slight difference in the color and clarity of the two. Randee and Cassandra are right that you can see the difference better when you print out the pictures. Thank you all again for helping me, and I am still working on returning everyone's comments.

The difference is prolly not going to show up over the internet, more so in print and the larger the print, the more pixelated/blurry it may become.
Also, this photo lends itself to "normal" due to not a lot of movement, one blaze of light and everything else mostly in a shadowlike atmosphere.
