One hit wonders, insipid lyrics, lack of talent... What are the worst songs you have ever heard? And no, they don't all have to be from the 80's.

Yup, totally agree with the rest of those!
Just sayin'.
When you have to spend so much time figuring out what they're saying (Traveling in a fried-out combie On a hippie trail, head full of zombie? WTF), it just isn't worth it.
Fine choices, Juan :)
Christmas Shoes
Who wants to hear a song about some kid and his dying mother on CHRISTMAS??? Really makes me feel festive!
WS, how does that thong song go? Don't know if I've ever heard it.
I like the Divinyls song too. And hey! "In A Big Country" is a great song. :-)
The "artist" of this mindlessly dreadful song was Shaun Cassidy.
I hated my Belle Amie.
Iris is on my top 100 list, WS!
I remember having a crush on Shaun Cassidy. But remember Rex Smith's You Take My Braeth Away?
Bobby Goldsboro did Scotty, and Honey
This is from probably the 70's. My sister used to sit on me and play it to torture me.
I never minded Tiptoe, Robyn.
Although I did try to memorize it.
Shout At the Devil--Motley Crue--unfortunately it's on Guitar Hero II
I don't mind that one, Robyn.
BTW Bob B "Louie Louie" was first done by The Kingston Trio
Johnny Rotten? I dunno, but I never liked any punk either.
OMG, Rob, I have never heard of that one!
Yeah, Matt likes Korn. Pffft!
I never liked anything by him either, Julie.
(You did ask, Shan!!!)
Better sit down kids
I'll tell you why, kids
You might not understand, kids
But give it a try, kids
Now how should I put this
Ive got something to say
You mother is staying
But I'm going away
No, were not mad, kids
Its hard to say why
Your mother and i
Don't see eye to eye
Say your prayers before you go to bed
Make sure you get yourself to school on Time
I know you'll do the things your mother Asks
Shes gonna need you most to stay in Line
Keep in mind your mothers gonna need
Your help a whole lot more than she
Ever did before
No more fights over little things
Because I won't be here to stop them anymore
I know you don't want this, neither do We
But sometimes things happen
That we can't foresee
Now try to be calm, kids
And don't look so sad
Just cause I am leaving
I'll still be your dad
Just remember I love you
And though I'm not here
Just call if you need me
And I'll always be near
(repeat chorus)
Well, I have to go now
So kiss me goodbye
My eyes are just red, kids
I'm too big to cry
It goes something like
me shell my bell these are words that go together well or something like that
then there's a bunch of whiney stuff and french words
ugh I shudder just to remember it.
Good point, Shel. That was a good song.
I don't remember that one! I liked "I got you babe" though.
