Live Search Club-- play games for prizes

I saw a banner ad for Live Search Club at club.live.com where you can play games for tickets to redeem for prizes.  They offer 9 games -- two of which are new in the last day! 

The games are Chicktionary, Clink, Crosswire, Flexicon, Red Carpet Reveal, Seekadoo, Star Shuffle, Dingbats, and Search Queries.  They are all word games which use the Live Search feature to reveal related searches to the answers you use in the games.  If you like Word Whomp on Pogo then Chicktionary will be easy for you!  This is the game I play most often as I can make 17-20 tickets in about 2 minutes. 

I currently have 955 tickets for about 4 hours of play.  I am going to redeem my tickets for a magazine subscription to Fitness magazine which requires 995 tickets.  My next magazine, Cosmo, requires 1875 tickets.  I will then get my husband Men's Health, also at 1875. 

Some of the prizes available are music downloads (starting at 105 tickets for 1 song, 20 songs for 1850), movie tickets (2 for 2250), Xbox games for 2500, a webcam for 3800, and even an Xbox 360 bundle for 35,000!

Yesterday they even added a charity feature where you can donate some or all of your tickets to a charity of your choice or a school of your choice, if it's on the list.

So if you like to play games and earn prizes, check it out!!!

I just redeemed for my Fitness magazine subscription for a year. It was only 995 tickets...I now only have 5 tickets left. I really have only played about 4 hours and with Chicktionary it goes really fast if you can remember all the common words. Type it with the keyboard and you can go really fast.

Remember.... ear, are, era, if you have an s add it to all of them...

art, tar, rat, if an s you have arts, tars, rats, star

Red Carpet Reveal takes forever and you only get 10 tickets so I don't play that one.

Crosswire is fun as you match up a word with a definition or category but it can take a few minutes.

Seekadoo is good if you like search a words, but it doesn't give you a list.

I just looked at the leaderboard and it shows I'm in 10th place on a few of the games which is funny because the top people have thousands more than I do.

I have been playing for a while now and have redeemed for three sets of movie tickets and am saving toward a new version of Vista for my husband who builds our computers and keeps us technologically up-to-date. I am stuck at around 17,000 because it says I have played all of the game available. They have not added any new games so be patient if you are saving for a higher-ticket item. There was some boting going on earlier and people in the tens of thousands of points have been barred from the game because they found a way to cheat to get those numbers. Good luck.

I'm glad you are enjoying the games and prizes. For those that have redeemed tickets, how fast do you receive them? My magazine subscription said it should be here by November which is typical for magazine schedules. I sent an email suggestion last week and received a personal reply in about two days .
