Where have you traveled?

I'm planning a trip to Denver for my 10th anniversary -- hoping to stay someplace quaint in the foothills and spend our time exploring the sights.

My only trip outside of the US was to Nova Scotia, Canada for work... pretty fun, except for the fog, and, oh, yeah, the work!

In the states, I've traveled up the East Coast to New England, Georgia, Florida, N. Carolina, Tennessee, Illinois, S. Dakota, Wyoming, California, New Mexico...  we took a lot of road trips, camping, as a family when I was a kid. 

We need to do that with our kids!

Where all have you traveled??

Tanzania was my most exotic deistnation.

I grew up in the Midwest, and have been to pretty much all of the states nearby, as we took a lot of road trips when I was a kid. We never flew anywhere until I was about 20!

But I have also visited Arizona, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, Wisconsin, and Washington--I live in the last of those now! :)

From California to Virginia and to Florida through all the Gulf states and some on the East Coast. Been to Colorado, which I am absolutley in love with, and would go to more of the West Coast.

I have been to San Francisco twice, and went through texas once, and Atlanta once. Otherwise, I have only been to ohio, illinois, Indiana and Ky.

I'm very partial to the west coast of Florida, but have also been to California, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maine, massachusetts, Connecticuit, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, North & South Carolina, & Georgia. The only places outside th U.S. I've been are Bermuda and the Bahamas. I was in Canada once, but was asleep the whole time! It was just over the Maine border.

I haven't really been anywhere exotic, but I've been to Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Canada (Niagra Falls), and Texas. Out of all I think Florida is my favorite, but mostly because of the beaches. I was only inland in Texas but I can imagine how beautiful the gulf there would be! My dream is to go to Greece someday. I am a Philosophy major and would love to see where my area of study got it's start! Besides, it is gorgeous!!!

Oh, no, Lorrie... the Gulf of Mexico is not pretty. Not at all. LOL Maybe as you get further south, down to the very tip of Texas at South Padre, those are nicer -- but all the water is brown/muddy, as warm as bath water, with lots of seaweed and the occasional oil spill... ;)
But, since it's all we've got... we make it down to Galveston a few times each year... kids love it no matter what!

I've been to most of the states...my dad traveled for work when I was a kid, so my mom and I went with him a lot...and I toured for 4 months with My Fair Lady. Outside the US. I've been to Portugal, Spain and England. Paris will be our next trip :) Oh! And I've been to a bunch of countries in the Caribbean on cruises, as well as Mexico.

Well since I grew up an Air Force brat I've lived in Spain, Azores (Portugal), Greece and too little to remember but -Turkey.
I've lived in Missouri & 1 year in Connecticut when Iwas a nanny, visited brother in Florida & Minnesota, and relatives In Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Massachusettes & Utah.
Got married in Jamaica!!! Haven't really been anywhere since I got married though except Missouri & Utah to see family - bummer!!!!!

My Dad was an officer in a British regiment and then my husband and I lived abroad when he took overseas postings and I travel a little for work!

I have been to Mexico, California, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Washington DC, Indiana (by accident! lol I got lost driving from Missouri to Tennessee!) Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Michigan.

We are going to Las Vegas this June! Yay!!
