Tristian and the Firestation visit.

I just took my son to the firestaion where my brother in law works as a firefighter. He had a blast there. He got to sit in the firetruck his uncle Travis even turned on the truck for him and the lights and they even honked the horn. tristian was soo cute you could really tell he was just loving it. Usually around his Uncle Traivis he acts really shy and almost scared, but when he was around him this time he acted so different. I think he will now look at his Uncle Travis differently now and will think he will really enjoy being around him more.

Tristian also got to hold some of the firefighting equipment. He got to hold,or try to hold the Jaws of life, Uncle travis had to hold it too. Those are a lot smaller than I thought they'd be but they are very very heavy. He also got to hold the big firefighters axe, Uncle Travis helped him with that too.

He really wanted to go on the top of the firetruck that has the big ladder on it, but he couldn't. I was fine with that becouse that looked high. He was told though that the next time we visit that Uncle Travis will try to give him a ride in the firetruck!

I really wish I would have gotten pictures, he was just so cute! I no longer have a camera though. Tristian accedently broke it. I miss my camera.  I now get to miss opportunities to keep special memories like this one.

All in all Tristian really had a great time and really loved it! While getting ready to leave Tristian was giving me lots of love and attention and my Mom said that was his way of saying "Thank you Mommy for taking me to see the firetrucks!".
