Ronald H. I love Brett (in fact, I'm watching the Vikings/Packers game now) and he'll play until he doesn't want to any longer I guess. I'm guessing another year after this one is done. He wants the records and it will take another season to get there. Now Bart Starr? CLASS ACT all the way. I've actually worked with him and his wife, Cherry in the past when they still lived in Green Bay. A very genuine, caring couple of people. And you are right-he was better than Brett.
Robiyah- No $$ was exchanged to begin with but there may be some now to keep me quiet so I don't tell you all sordid stories.

Welcome LISA!!! Please don't let the fun sway you. Once you get in and just get comfy enough to take your shoes off, there will be people that will try to run you out of Gather, especially if you spell something wrong or if you don't write something that they (the trolls of Gather) don't agree with. Please, by all means, don't let them get you down. As long as you have Travis in your corner, you'll do alright. *gasp* What in the hell was that? Who stole my damn computer and typed that nice sentence about Travis? Unless the end of the world is upon us....egads!

On the other hand - if he wants twenty bucks so you can get a neato 'We Be Gather!" tattoo, like everyone else here already has, then that's perfectly legit
and he can send the template to any tattoo artist in the country - although I would avoid DyLexics Das'n Dicnoust Tottao Pralor in El Paso...I have bad vibes about the place.

And, not to worry about anyone trying to run me off- I've been in shark-infested waters on the internet many times in the past and and I've got lead feet, a sword and Travis in my corner. It's been a good combo so far. :D
julian- tis me, I can assure you. I'll be sure to avoid that tattoo parlor for sure. So far, I've gone through my life un-inked and I just can't imagine dealing with the pain of it -UGH. Add to that a warm fuzzy since gather members read and liked my stories (in the Fifteen Minutes group.....or by search articles for "Rated G") and this helped build points.
So Lisa, gather is still pretty much as advertised except for the recent stumbles and bumps as Yahoo and others winnow their message boards sending their prognasticators and big egos flying.
I think we will survive that.
