Several weeks ago we decided to drive up the Swan Valley. Magi told me that the Valley was a "tourist paradise" with wineries, orchards, and unique cafes and shops. Although we did stop and savor all these wonderful places, what I remember most about our drive were the fields and fields of wild yellow daisies growing everywhere.

Oooo... great photos!
I love the shot of you on your belly, taking pictures of the daisies!
Yes, I am back home. Ten days went so fast! I was flat out exhausted when we got home and have spent today doing a stack of laundry and some ironing of the summer clothes we wore while on vacation. Now I can finally put all the summer clothes away. Time to get the warmer clothes out!
From fields of daisies to fields of snow... it's going to be a tremendous change for you, Bob.
For me, my homecoming was a glorious pallette of Fall colors. I was positively drunk on the golds and reds of the leaves on my way home from the airport! My whole town is ablaze... and my backyard... wow! I hope the snow keeps away for a while and lets me enjoy Fall a bit longer.
that played at my brother's funeral
chosen by his widowed bride
Fields of Gold at his memorial
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in the fields of gold
So she took her love
For to gaze awhile
Upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold
See the west wind move like a lover so
Upon the fields of barley
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We'll walk in the fields of gold
We'll walk in the fields of gold
Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
Among the fields of gold
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold
