I took my children to the zoo on Friday and I noticed for the first time a wall of wood burnings. I thought the texture and colors of the fun, whimsical piece would be lovely photographed. My son Gabriel helped point out interesting places to photograph it, so the following is our inspirations put together. I hope you enjoy it!
Walking in the woods of the Pacific NW can be an adventure. When I was a child I took a walk with my sister and mother and grandparents in Idaho and we came across a bear. This piece reminded me of that day.

Spying, peeking, looking for who?

Branches overlapping in a forest of pines. We have many forests like this.

Another time when I was a child I had the priviledge of seeing a cougar in the wilderness of Idaho. What a grand creature!
