Heather's Senior Pics - Studio and in Curacao

My younger step-daughter, Heather, asked me if I would be willing to take her senior picture for her yearbook for 2008.  I ended up taking dozens and dozens (maybe hundreds!) of pictures of her, both at home in my family room "studio" (very loosely defined!!), and also while we all were in Curacao in the summer of 2007, the year before her senior year.  After we were all done, she went through all of these pictures and finally decided on the "FINAL EIGHT", only one of which would be her official senior picture for the yearbook.  We had a lot of fun taking these pictures, and she dressed in her favorite outfits for them, and I also did a few little "extras" to enhance these shots.

Now, fellas, try to keep a handle on your thoughts here!  She's only 17 years old, and looks more mature and older than she really is.  She's extremely photogenic and very pretty, but she most definitely looks older than she is in some of these shots - the substance of what model agencies look for...but she has no intention of losing all the necessary weight she would have to lose to be a model...and at this point, she's planning to go to college (TBD) and study palentology...her older sister, Melissa, is almost finished her senior year, majoring in geology.  They're both really smart kiddos...

The pictures that have "Heather 2008" enscribed on them are her "Final Eight" that she chose to give out to friends and family.

These bouganvilla flowers were everywhere, and just seemed to call out to be put in her hair!  Taken by the pool at "Habitat Curacao", where we stayed for part of our vacation in Curacao.

She really wanted some photos taken on a tree branch, as she had seen many of her classmates' senior pictures done that way...so here she is in Curacao on her tree branch by the sea...

I had to include this one and the next one...I was taking so many pictures of her, that after awhile, she started to lose it and was just cracking up.  I continued clicking away because I just loved these pictures of her "un-posed" and laughing.
