Last night, I sent my father a series of completely disconnected images, thinking he would pick one as the inspiration for a haiku. Completely to my surprise, he found a way to incorporate all three.

Absolutely breathtaking !! This man is gifted and clearly lives in the spiritual realm as well as the earthly! Please convey my admiration to him for his moving expression of poetry, mysticism and insight into the true essence of God's love! and the images are so delightful - they seem perfectly hand picked to accompany and illustrate the verses! The two of you are more 'in sync' than most! Thank you for sharing this beautiful collaboration, and please encourage your father to write and publish more of such edifying work!

Actually, Julian three, the collaboration worked the other way. My inspired daughter sent me the images as a challenge, and I put the words and thoughts to the images, which, to my mind, flowed together. I'm glad that I rose to her challenge, and I'm delighted to read your words of praise and encouragement.

It has truly made my heart sing to be able to share this space and place with my father. And the gift of it all is that this adult child of his was blown away today by his ability to transform three unrelated images into a piece that flows out to touch the reader. Yep, that's my Papa, and I'm pretty darn proud of him.
