The Renaissance faire in Cloudcroft, New Mexico was fun! The people up there make it a free event.
I wish only I could have been up there the entire weekend! I put up some pictures from the Ren Faire on my site as well as Belly Dance Chit Chat site bellydance.gather.com The ones of me in black, orange and gold.
I got some beautiful scarves.
Some for a song and others for a fortune (a small one anyway)
I performed 3 dances. One thing However, I will have to remember the altitude change for next time.
I went up over 3000 ft in the 1 1/2 hours from El Paso to Cloudcroft!
And theair was definitly thinner up there! I taught Saturday morning, so I didn't get as much time to look around before I performed as I would have liked, but it was still great time.
The funny thing was that 5 minutes after I finished performing there was a down poor of rain that lasted for about 20 minutes! talk about timing.
