wings of Isis

Hey all, this post is mainly for the belly dancing group I'm part of.

So last night, I decided to spend more money on belly dancing gear...I really need to stop...but there's something about having a new hobby where you just want everything now...oh well, I should be done for a while...*crosses fingers* www.dahlal.com is having a deal on their wings of Isis. normally they're $140 now they're "just" $100. so I bought me some white shimmering wings cause I think they look freakishly fun and amazing. I'm curious if they'll react to black light because the place I go for my spin jams has black lights everywhere...that would look really cool... But I bought these for a few reasons, belly dancing, spin jam and renfest...This year I'm totally going to dress up in gypsy gear and run around with these wings looking for music to dance to...or something crazy like that.

I'm wondering if I still spent too much on these wings though. I like to make things myself but after thinking about it for a while, I don't know if I'd be able to make these. so I ordered some and if anything I'll just use the ones I buy as a pattern for any that I can make...we shall see...they're so prett! I can't wait to get them and try them out! does anyone have experience with these wings? what do you think of them?
