Hey fellow Gatherers!
If you are wondering why my contact name went from Kristina Butler to Zahira Sujong - no I am not schitzo (that they can prove) it is just I decided to switch to using my stage name here on Gather.
For those interested Zahira is arabic, and it means shining, radiant, blossoming. SuJong was my Korean nick-name when I was teaching at the Universities over there. It means Crystal - the closest they could come to Kristina.
Kristina is the material artist, and Zahira is the dancer. You don't always want spectators to know your real name if you are a Bellydancer!
Sorry if anyone gets confused, though my icon has had my stage name right across it since I joined gather.
It is funny when I am talking to people and the conversation includes both professions. I give them 2 business cards and say, "this is who I am, and this is who I pretend to be!"
It has even gotten so that my voice mail says "hi, you've reached Kristina & Zahira at KB Works Studio. Sorry, we missed your call, ....etc" The studio phone is the same way "hi, you've reached Kristina, Zahira & Evan Butler at KB Works Studio. Sorry, we missed your call, ....etc" (Evan is the computer tech guru and my hubby)
Does anyone else have this issue of being 2 people?

My mom thought she got a wrong number the other day, because I think she finally really listened to my voice mail that said "hi, you've reached Kristina & Zahira at KB Works Studio. Sorry, we missed your call, ....etc" and all she heard was "Zahira". it was kind of funny, since I have had my voice mail set like that since February!
